Doctor Mufaq Askar Mohmad, aka Abu Abdul Qader al-Tabib
Doctor Abu Abdul Qader al-Tabib, who is known as the “health minister” of ISIS, was killed in a recent airstrike by the US-led coalition on a hospital in the town of al-Susah in the middle Euphrates River Valley, Syrian pro-opposition sources revealed on January 10.
Citing a military source, the Lebanon 24 news outlet sad that that 15 other doctors and injured fighters of ISIS were killed in the same airstrike.
Al-Tabib’s real name is Mufaq Askar Mohmad. The infamous doctor was reportedly born in the town of Gharanij in the southern Deir Ezzor countryside in 1972. After graduating from a high school in Deir Ezzor, he traveled to the United Kingdom where he studied in an unknown medical school. Later, he returned to Syria and started teaching in the medical school of the Euphrates University in the city of Der Ezzor.
When the crisis erupted in Syria in late 2011, the doctor started to work with the Free Syrian Army (FSA). However, he decided to follow a more radical path when ISIS began to expand in eastern Syria and pledged his allegiance to the terrorist group in the city of Raqqa in 2013.
According to opposition activists, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) killed three of al-Tabib’s sons during its battle with the terrorist group in Deir Ezzor in late 2017.
Al-Tabib was the second prominent commander of ISIS to be killed in the last two months. On December 2, the US-led coalition announced that it had eliminated Abu al-Umarayn in a precision strike in the Damascus desert. Al-Umarayn is a prominent ISIS commander who was accused of executing a former U.S. soldier. The elimination of such prominent figures is a major PR blow to the terrorist group.

What would terrorists like you know about “war crimes”? Of course beheadings of prisoners is something opposite of “war crimes” for you. And where is the “war crime” in killing indiscriminately rabid dogs like the one on the photo? They are legitimate targets even in their hospitals.
As a doctor he must have saved a lot of lives, even if they are ISIS soldiers. And deliberately attacking and killing injured people in a hospital is a war crime. Remember the outcry when the US bombarded some “Médecins sans frontiere” hospital in north Afghanistan? I don’t think the present attack is better.

The report says other medical staff and injured patients also got killed. Although I know they were probably all ISIS members, an attack on a working hospital is wrong.
