A US military serviceman died in northern Syria, the US Operation Inherent Resolve said in a statement at its website on March 29.
According to the statement, the military serviceman died “from suspected natural causes”.
“It is CJTF-OIR policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities,” the statement reads.
