The Cyber Crimes Division of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas has launched a pilot program involving the mining of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to monitor the activities of criminals online. The division has generated its own digital currency to track such crimes as the proliferation of child pornography.
The division intends to use bitcoins for undercover operations in various capacities online, helping combat child pornography, child predators and other crimes.
The detectives said they decided to mine bitcoins instead of buying them because it’s cheaper and because they know the money hasn’t been used for illegal purposes. The process will create a slow, daily stream of cryptocurrency that will look less suspicious to other users.
“People are selling child pornography on the dark web and on the Internet. They are accepting Bitcoins, not payments. We can’t use the sheriff’s office credit card, and we can’t exchange child pornography. We need some type currency to get this and then identify who we are getting it from. That way, we can go arrest that person,” said Detective David Undiano, a cybercrime detective.
Based on data from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, there has been an increase in the number of individuals who use Bitcoin and secret web browsers to trade or distribute child pornography, to illegally purchase drugs, as well as to engage in prostitution or human trafficking and other unlawful activities.
Who invented this “dark web”. Obviously, someone did it. Tor was founed by the US gov.

Today the main producers of child pornography(CP) is the teens and pre teen themselves and they are doing it from the comfort of their bedroom with the cell phone and computer cams their parents bought them and because they respect their privacy they do it behind locked doors. Concerned, loving parents have been sold the myth that it’s a big bad world out there, with weird strangers out to get their kids and do unspeakable things. But real horrors are exceedingly rare and the most truly abusive acts against children, including murder, take place in the home, perpetrated by parents themselves; “family values” are only as good as the family that holds them. So what have politicians, radical right feminists given us, in the name of protecting children first from “stranger danger” and now from the Wild Wild Web, is constant surveillance and control over all. Less than half the arrests for CP result in prosecution; However 100% of the arrests have their lives ruined because of the accusation and their names plastered in the media. CP arrests are made using deception and disinformation which is widely propagated in the main stream media creating an accepted version of events. Journalists don’t even raise the simplest of questions about CP and those that do are labeled as crazy.
