On December 6, US President Donald Trump announced in an official statement that he will ask Saudi Arabia to allow all forms of humanitarian aid to enter Yemen. The country has been under a Saudi blockade for more than two years now.
“I have directed officials in my administration to call the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to request that they completely allow food, fuel, water and medicine to reach the Yemeni people who desperately need it,” Trump said in an official statement, according to Reuters.
Saudi Arabia has been besieging all the Houthis-held areas in Yemen including the Yemeni capital Sana’a since the beginning of its military intervention in Yemen on March 19, 2015. However, the Saudi blockade became more dangerous when Saudi Arabia banned everything including humanitarian aid from entering the Houthis-held area in November. Saudi Arabia took the decision after the Houthis targeted the Saudi capital Riyadh with a ballistic missile on November 5.
Trump’s decision to pressure Saudi Arabia to ease its blockade on Yemen is likely linked to his decisions to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel announced on December 6.
According to analysts, Trump may try to ease the tension with the Iran, to make sure it will not encourage its allies in Palestine like the Hamas Movement to harass the Israelis who will respond. Any armed conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians now will be blamed on Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
The recognition of Jerusalem by the USA is permanent but the request to lift the blockade is just something temporary… just a smokescreen to take some of the attention away from Israel and the abusive sexual relationship it has with the US, which is its sockpuppet.
have another theory (just a theory). Trump has completed Trapped Saudi Arabia to make KSA Trump’s bitch! Giving MBS his support, MBS purged all the Saudi Princes who opposed him which will inherently create dissent amongst the Saudi royals! Saudi Arabia is in a desperate situation because oil prices are low (which they started this trade war against Russia for more market share) the war on Yemen is costing them big time and now its need to support Israel so that KSA will be protected from a shiia onslaught!
But no muslim of any sect will accept Jerusalem as Israel’s capital for this was the city in which Muhammad died and ascended into heaven. Throughout history the battles for Jerusalem waged for centuries and now its just going to be handed over with one single announcement? I don’t think so!
Therefore what kind of position does this put MBS in? MBS (and the house of Saudi) NEEDS Israel and the USA now more than ever if the monarchy is to survive! But they also cannot support this new announcement because it would cause complete revolt amongst the population of KSA!
So KSA must be against it but DO NOTHING for if they are active against Israel, the monarchy will be left to the wolves! How is it possible for KSA and MBS to support and ally with Israel against Hezbollah and Iran whilst at the same time be against its new capital? It can’t!
I have always believed that the USA and Israel has kept its friends close and its enemies even closer! Saudi Arabia is the crown jewel! The land and Resources are what Israel wants! Mount Sinai is in Saudi Arabia! All the oil! the Petro dollar is at risk! Saudi Arabia is going down! thats my thoughts! This was all laid out and planned! Make Saudi Arabia fully dependent and desperate and broke, then make them openly ally with u and then claim Jerusalem as the official Israeli capital! That is a “check mate” against Saudi Arabia! KSA could run into the Arms of the Russians but hat also comes with major consequences!
It’s amazing how easily the western MSM has trained everyone to say “the blockade of Yemen”. The ONLY part of Yemen that is prevented from receiving aid is the unoccupied part that is resisting the Saudi/UAE occupation, and it’s not just Houthis. The Yemeni military is still there fighting right alongside the Houthis. The unoccupied part also happens to contain the major population centers in Yemen – those people are not fleeing to the Saudi/UAE-occupied south – I wonder why? Yemenis almost universally hate Saudi Arabia and the UAE whether they live in the occupied parts or not. The Yemeni missile forces just launched several retaliatory attacks on UAE merc camps today. You’re not going to hear about that in the MSM.
The blockade is fully-supported by the US despite Trump’s fake demands. Yemen’s majority Zaidi Shia (not just the Houthis) must be genocided in Yemen because they are somehow an existential threat to Israel. Never mind that they’re not really like twelver-Shia like Iran – all Shia must die to protect Israel.
