UN General Assembly
It looks that systematic US actions undermine the system of international relations which is already on the edge.
The main UN Headquarters is currently located in New York, the US. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is openly calling for a reform of the existing UN bodies.
The Russian side likely entertains a possibility that the further UN work in the current format is hardly possible. This is why observers could see statemetns that the US is not only unable to serve as the organization’s host state, but often uses this role for own political purposes.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has recently released a comment on the issue (source):

The US authorities once again sabotaged the participation of the Russian representatives in the events taking place at the UN Headquarters. This time they did not let Russia’s Ministry of Defense delegation arrive in time to New York, when they were supposed to take part in the First Committee at the General Assembly of the UN. The entry visas were not ready the day before or on the day of the flight, though the necessary documents had been sent to the US Consulate in September.
The unpleasant frequency of these sabotages suggests that they are deliberate. Even though the US has taken upon itself the obligation to let the organization and its member countries’ delegations function unobstructed on its territory, this obligation is always being influenced — and always to the detriment — by Washington’s momentary interests. This seems to be the case now, with the US deciding not to let the Russian experts in the UN-held briefing on October 12, regarding the threats to strategic stability, caused by the US global system of anti-missile defense, which is anything but defensive. The visas being ready on October 13 just seems like an attempt to mask foul play.
The systematic attempts to hinder our work at the UN by the US are bound to create an outrage. Such actions only aggravate the already complicated US-Russian relations.
Considering sharp contradictions already existing in the international relations, such actions do not contriute to strengthening of the peace and security around the world.

Not Malta, especially after journalist Daphne Caruanafter’s (who investigated political corruption) murder in the country. I would say Iceland would be a good candidate, after all, they did jail bankers who violated the law.

The UN should sell that building, as prices are high and move elsewhere, like the Azores, or Tahiti.

What about moving the UN seat to Vienna , Chancellor Bruno Kreisky had made ready several buildings for the purpose in the 80’s
