The Venezuelan Armed Forces clashed with a group of alleged militants and eliminated 6 of them, on February 10th.

The eliminated individuals attacked a military commission that was conducting patrol work in the Las Cachameras sector, Ayacucho municipality of the state Tachira.

According to the authorities’ report, after the confrontation the officials managed to seize the weapons and equipment the group was carrying.

The Venezuelan authorities claimed that the group was a “Colombian paramilitary force,” supporting the opposition.

On February 8th, an attack was carried out on a warehouse of the National Telephone Company of Venezuela (Cantv) and its affiliate Movilnet in the northern state of Carabobo, causing total loss of strategic telecommunications equipment.

Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez informed that the attack was perpetrated in the Flor Amarillo sector of Valencia, Carabobo state, causing a fire in the warehouse.

“Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has ordered the immediate return of this indispensable material and the capture of those responsible!” she added.

“We reject the terrorist attack against the telecommunications services of Venezuela. Attacking Cantv and Movilnet is a war operation against our people,” Venezuela’s Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology Gabriela Jimenez said.

On February 10th, Russia rejected any threats by the US to impose sanctions on it for cooperating with Venezuela.

“We classify this practice as harmful, we believe that many countries suffer because of this practice, we consider it contrary to international law,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov told reporters of Washington’s sanction regime.

“The United States, especially, and several other countries, unfortunately use these trade and other restrictions very frequently against third world countries, which are illegal under international law.”

Peskov added that “they use this practice more and more often in recent times to ensure their own interests in international commercial and economic affairs.”

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang, in a media briefing session offered online, said China is against any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela and against the application of unilateral sanctions.

“China’s position on the problem of Venezuela is clear and remains unchanged. We stand against any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela and against unilateral sanctions,” said the diplomat.

“We urge other countries to take into account the humanitarian reality of Venezuela, stop imposing unilateral and extraterritorial sanctions, and work to create necessary conditions that will lead to the stability of their economic growth,” said Geng.

It is showing how ineffective US diplomacy currently is, as both China and Russia are showing no intention of respecting any threat of sanctions for cooperating with Venezuela, located in Washington’s “backyard.”

Guido is a traitor to his country, if Venezuela really is ‘his country’. The sooner he is gaoled for treason, the better Venezuela will be. The Trumpster recently highlighted just how cheesy and obnoxious US politics has become by referring to the traitor as President of Venezuela. As if. Guido doesn’t have it in him to be a president. He is a little neocon fratboy who only needs to possess a pair of ears to qualify as a US sockpuppet. What is between the ears isn’t applicable.

Venezuela has now seen two very public US coup d’état attempts fail miserably. South Americans need to get behind Venezuela and its people, otherwise suffer the bully forever and be happy in your US induced poverty and oppression.
