On December 23, the Houthis media wing released a video showing the moment when the Houthis shot down a CH-4B unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) of the Saudi Air Force over the northern Yemeni provinceo of Saada.
Saudi Arabia had bought several CH-4B UCAVs from China. The Saudi Air Force has been actively employing these UCAVs in the Yemeni conflict.

Saudi Arabia is licensed to build them itself. It could be UAE, too. They got a batch of Chinese-made CH-4Bs a while back.
At first, I thought “Jeeze… what a waste of a rocket” thinking this was a much smaller drone. It’s an MQ-1 Predator clone though, so fairly large and armed. Something like 700 lb. capacity and 40 hours endurance. $4 million each even from China, so I guess it deserved attention from a Houti MANPADS.
Not sure about the Houthi video. The angles are deceiving – it looked like it completely missed the CH-4 either undershooting or overshooting it, then the frame goes out of focus, then a few seconds later the hit. Not saying the Houthis are lying here – it’s just that they should keep the camera guy away from the khat and teach him about focus lock. Congrats anyway, Houthis.

Actually, since the Saudi scum have lost the Yemen war it in not in the news as much. But the fact is that the Saudi cowards and their mercenaries have taken quite a severe beating in the last 5 days in the coastal areas and Jizan.
