Every inch of Syria will be liberated from terrorists
All liberated areas need guarding.
I’m quite curious on the strength of the newly trained unit, from the video I could presume it is battalion strength if not a little more! Raising these numbers late into a gruelling civil war is remarkable and impressive, I would presume these are volunteers rather than conscripts and if so it shows a huge boost in morale and support for the SAA!
Probably a lot of them are from men who had earlier been in rebellion against the Syrian government and have finally been convinced that they were on the wrong side. Let’s hope things turn out the way they want. Syria is so tribally oriented that minds can change quickly.
That’s true it is a rather fluid situation and I can agree on your point about past rebels, many people seem to ignore the fact that many rebels were practically village self defence forces that didn’t associate with the radical Sunni groups! There has to be some sort of political inclusion on offer if your theory holds. If this turns out to be the case then it shows the willingness of Damascus to put through a inclusive political road map, this is only a positive!
Maybe I hope for too much, but it seems to me, considering that Assad has never really been a dictator because all leaders are subject to crowd of sycophants and powerful that surround them, that the PTB in Syria have been learning a hard lesson and more freedom than before is in the offing. This all assumes of course that the PTB in Washington can be forced to let this happen, for they will never let it happen willingly.
Washington needs Islamist Fascists in Syria why they had Operation Gladio C as part of the invasion of Syria and Iraq.
Not likely these are from the liberated areas and this shows how much they want to defeat these foreigners in their country, besides only some areas are tribal.
