North Korea claims it successfully tested its first “intercontinental ballistic missile” (ICBM) Hwasong-14. The state TV announcement said the missile could hit targets anywhere in the world.
The media report said that the missile had reached an altitude of 2,802km, flew 933km for 39 minutes and hit a target in the Sea of Japan.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that that North Korea launched an intermediate range missile, not an ICBM.
Meillerwagen on steroids , Korean Style !

Variations on a theme, basically. Just like all tanks have tracks and a turret. And how all cars look alike. Well, at least to me.
My god. The Germans were so far ahead back then. It looks almost exactly like the ICBMs of today. And similar transport and launch systems. They even had mobile launching.
If you speak German , here are the original launch instructions for the ground troups. The A4 (V2) was a complicated weapons system for that time.

This is very good news!
Medium range no ICBM. If this missile has put ants in their pants can you tell me what icbm would do to their morals?
If the data are correct and the missile reached an altitude of 2800 km , then we are speaking about an ICBM. You dont need an altitude of 2800km for a 1000km reach , but if the designed reach is 10000 km then 2800km altitude makes sense.
Complex situation for the North Koreans: inside a dictatorship producing ridiculous propaganda, outside the US vassals waiting their opportunity to attack the country.
ridiculous propaganda? It looks like a workable IRBM to me….
Yeah. The missile sure works, and it shows the technical skills of the koreans, they’re competent people, no doubt about that.
I referred as ‘ridiculous’ due to the childish style of the ad and the intense cult to their boss.
Meanwhile Trump is missing in NK… its very easy to threat Syria as the army are fighting vs terrorist brands….but other thing is a war vs NK…..the Vietnam nighmare are present…Kim ( Charlie), North vs South, Comunist, China and Russia close,US servicemen captive…..too much for USA!
Too much for USA? If anything this latest Korean missile test gave us an excuse for war with the north,a war in which they would be annihilated in,and annexed by South Korea to form the Republic of Korea.
keep om dreaming!..Charlie is coming back!
I doubt Chinese would sit on their hands watching US wreaking havoc in their backyard.
China wouldn’t protect a rogue country who now has nuclear weapons and who would even try to turn on China if they felt threatened by them.If anything China might aid USA in the fight against rogue Kimmy
Don’t be stupid. The “rogue” country is protecting the eastern flank of its territory, and providing a buffer between it and US forces stationed in South Korea. China doesn’t want a war on its border because it could turn nuclear and no country wants a nuclear war happening next door.
China pretends it’s not interested in getting involved because it likes money, specifically AMERICAN money. But they did the same in the Korean War. When the Yanks looked as if they would be successful in taking over North Korea, their aim all along and the reason why the US pushed South Korea to make cross-border attacks on North Korean villages for 2 years long, which the North Koreans had to ignore because they were busy fighting the Nationalists in China, helping Mao gain control of the Chinese mainland, the Chinese entered the war.
Among the soldiers was Mao’s own son, who was killed in action in this war. China was paying back all the sacrifice of the North Koreans, not just in its civil war with the nationalists, but also in its war with the Japanese. North Koreans were part of the core group of Mao’s (just twenty or so people) that started off on the Long March.
China is not a fool. It has not become an ally of the US as some people imply. Why do you think China and the US are constantly clashing over the South China Sea? And why do you think China is upgrading its military? To protect itself against the Russians? LOL.
It’s because of the economic war the USA wages. Right now, it’s not in China’s interests, they think, to come out in the open with its support of North Korea.
They want to preserve peace on the peninsula. They want to bide their time until China’s military is stronger. They have to secure economic stability too. China’s economy is still developing. It isn’t mature yet. Their currency is not the world’s reserve or trading currency.
Therefore, it has a lot to go. It needs money for this, so while the US is still strong in its economy and trade domination and while the US markets are still attractive (which it will be as long as the USD doesn’t collapse in value), China will not upset the status quo and play along with the US over North Korea, publicly stating its support for the denuclearization of North Korea.
it is true what China says about North Korea. It has lost a lot of control over North Korea. It is still behind the scenes helping North Korea a lot, but other countries are gaining importance as behind the scenes helpers of North Korea.
This is why North Korea has gained new allies in the Middle East and other parts of the world. Not much is known about these relationships and transactions because they are conducted secretly. This secret business dealing may be the source of North Korea’s newly found uptick in its economy.
So China wants to keep a hand in North Korea, so it still gives it secret support.
North Korea is preparing itself from the day China relinquishes all support, just in case.
With the success of its missile tests in recent days, there will be many customers from around the world who will be knocking at North Korea’s door (secretly of course), eager to do business with North Korea.
North Korea has mineral wealth too. Gold and rare earth minerals.
North Korea finds oil in its territory: North Korea is said to be sitting on basins that contain oil, and it will be self-sufficient in fuel – the only area where North Korea lacks true independence.
Don’t be fooled by the mainstream media (Zionist owned in 99% of the cases), which is promoting the false narrative that China is 100% on board with the USA’s policies.
China would like to have retained greater control over North Korea, but after its establishment, North Korea showed early that it was not willing to have that kind of relationship with China, and fought hard to be independent of China. Otherwise, North Korea might as well have given up its sovereignty and become just another province of China.
So China has had to compromise, allowing North Korea’s its independence, as well as keeping some measure of influence on the nation.
As long as China doesn’t go full capitalist-democratic, and starts acting like a complete lackey of the capitalists, North Korea will keep its relations with China cordial, reminding it occasionally of North Korea’s help in creating communist China and installing the ruling Communist Party in it.

It’s because of the economic war (that includes sanctions) the USA wages that China dances around the North Korea issue. Right now, it’s not in China’s interests, they think, to come out in the open with their support of North Korea.
You have chosen an occult name as you user name nice choice. It speaks volumes to me.
my name is Amon DeArmond,I just added the Ra because I’m a big fan of ancient Egyptian culture, lol
You are an idol worshiper. Is that what you are saying?
Nah,I believe in reincarnation&karma and that’s it basically.
That Hwasung-14 has a range of more than 10,000 km and should be able to strike the entire US continent and the ICBM has been operational for more than a decade and is not the latest ICBMs North Korea has in its arsenals. There are still 3 more types of ICBMs North Korea possesses such as Bukguksung-3 and 4.
Is it essential to detach the transporter as shown in the picture?
not in battle situation. this will prevent TEL’s tire damage.
I suppose it is a liquid fuel type right (I might be wrong but when I see that flame I think liquid)? So even when completely tested and produced it takes some time to launch.
Why is there so much disagreement about the range of the missile tested? Western media says that the range is only 6,500 km and can only hit Alaska, not the 48 states below Alaska. The main report that is cited for this is this, a report from the Union of Concerned Scientists: http://allthingsnuclear.org/dwright/north-korea-appears-to-launch-missile-with-6700-km-range This would make the missile an intermediate range missile. The same people say North Korea is “years” away from making an ICBM. And then there is the South Korean media, most of which say the missile is long-range, and has a range that is 8,000 km+. Some even say the range is 11,000 km (one military ex-chief of South Korean army). Also, a South Korean missile expert says that the missile is long range. http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/search1/2603000000.html?cid=AEN20170704017900315 and https://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-missiles-idUSKBN19P02W There is quite a difference between an ICBM and an intermediate range missile. I wish there was someone out there who could explain the differences in calculation of the range.
Since most of these missile demonstrations have psychological purposes, North Korea must perform another missile test to show definitively, beyond all doubt, that it has long range ICBMs capable of striking any part of the USA. It can do this by showing satellite images captured in real time while the missile is out in space and continuing on through its descent into the earth’s atmosphere, during the final phase of reentry, in order to let the Yanks know that it has missiles capable of surviving reentry, and hence, can launch nuclear warheads at the US that will reach the mainland.
NewYork is the first Target. Washington will be second target, Sanfransisco , gay city will be third target.
