Security forces are still finding and seizing weapons caches left behind by miltiants in the Rastan region in the northern part of Syria’s Hama province.
This fact shows that militants did not surrender a notable part of their weapons earlier this year when they accepted a withrawal deal in the area and the remaining cells of radical groups may still use these weapons to carry out terrorist attacks in the area. This sutiation is one of the factors behind the complicated security situation in the region.
