AlMasdarNews reports: Video footage emerged earlier today of a Syrian Army ambush of a Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly known as Nusra Front) commander in Syria’s southern Dara’a province.
Notably, the front has become stale for the most parts following the government troops’ conquest of the strategic city of Sheikh Miskeen at the turn of the current year’s January. Ever since the, the insurgents’ launched a failed offensive after the other without any success whatsoever.
Syria’s stale southern fronts enabled the Syrian Armed Forces to concentrate further on the nation’s heated northern fronts where a raging Battle for Aleppo is currently taking place while also further choking the rebel presence in Western and Eastern Ghoutas.
