The video below shows Syrian government forces in the recently liberated town of Misraba in the Eastern Ghouta region, near Damascus. According to the video, the Syrian Army actively uses Russian-made T-90 battle tanks in the ongoing operation.
Government troops have already used the area of Misraba to launch an advance on the nearby town of Modira where clashes are now ongoing. If Modira is lbierated, the militant-held pocket of Eastern Ghouta will be divided into two separated parts.

Meanwhile, the Tiger Forces and the Republican Guard have further advanced in the southern part of Eastern Ghouta in order to isolate the militant-held town of Aftaris.
