The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has repelled an ISIS suicide vehicle borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) atttack on its positions north of the T2 Pumping Station in the province of Deir Ezzor.
On November 7, the SAA and Hezbollah resumed their advance towards the ISIS-held city of al-Bukamal located near the Syrian-Iraqi border.

WTF was with that VBIED? It looks like they welded the front half of an armored crew-cab onto the rear of an extended-cab pickup. Would have been funny in any other context. The initial blast flash also seemed to be pretty hot and it’s size can’t be explained by the tank round alone. The head-choppers are clearly not using grandma’s old ANFO recipe to get things started anymore.
