waaay to much firepower for the task at hand, but good shootin’, nonetheless! calibers in the range from 50.8 – 63.5 mm would be more economical! looks like kinsabba will soon be liberated!
The overkill tells me the war is nearly over. With the SAA about 70km from Raqqa, they don’t mind “wasting” a few of the heavy missiles to gain some ground.
No wonder the Saudis and the Turkeys want to march in so badly!
Yep, since the end of last year, I’ve been saying that Syria will reclaim their entire nation by the end of 2016. The Kurds will be given/take the northern strip, to provide a buffer with Turkey but other than that, all theirs. That rebel strip in Aleppo is crumbling as we speak, the city itself will soon be cutoff and taken, Latakia is almost won, the SAA are kicking behind in Daraa, they’ve even opened up a new front near Raqqa like you say! Also, you’ve got the bubble around the thermal plant south of Al Bab that’s almost been crushed, and once that happens, a huge winding front becomes tiny, allowing thousands of troops to focus on Al Bab, then Deir Hafer, then east all the way to Raqqa and Deir Ezzor/the Iraqi border.
It’s all over.
The enemy just doesn’t know it yet.
I don’t care what people say about the Syrian Arab Army. I like them. They don’t scream “ALLAH HU ACKBAR!” every time they fire a weapon. I only heard one (possible) mention of ALLAH. I think I heard one soldier say “allah assalam,” but I’m not sure about the allah part.
I wasn’t expecting ATGMs to be used against soft targets, but for the record…I’m into it. It’s always good to see the head chopping child rapists blown to pieces.
Rather a job for RSHG-1, or any other RPG. But hat off, well done do kill foreign mercenaries.
looks like a good toy
