Syrian warplanes are bombing terrorist targets near the town of Maardes in the province of Hama. They are supporting the ongoing offensive of the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) on the alliance of the US-backed Free Syrian Army and the Jund Al-Aqsa terrorist group in the area.
According to pro-government sources, the Syrian army and the NDF have recently captured the Al-‘Abadeh Farms, the Al-Khazaan Farms and deployed in the eastern gates of Maardes. This has been second attempt by the pro-government forces to liberate Maardes since yesterday.
