The Turkish Armed Forces have deployed dozens of additional armoured vehicles on the border with Syria’s Aleppo province, accoring to Turkish sources.

While the video below claims that at least 30 vehicles were deployed in Turkey’s Hatay province, which borders Aleppo from the western direction, the state-run Anadolu Agency also reported that military vehicles were also sent to the province of Kilis, which borders Aleppo from the northern direction.

“Trucks loaded with tanks and howitzers reached Kilis. They were pointed at the Elbeyli district of Syria, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent on the field.

The military vehicles were transferred amid tight security to troops on the Syrian side of the border, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking with the media,” Anadolu Agency claimed.

On December 12, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey will launch a military operation against Kurdish armed groups in the area east of the Euphrates in norhern Syria within a few days.

According to pro-Turkish sources, at the first stage the operation could be aimed at the town of Tell Abyad. The Turkish-backed coalition of militant groups, titled the Syrian National Army, will reportedly support the TAF in this effort.

Dozens of vehicle is basically only a battalion. Nobody can invade anything with a single battalion. Its just a troop rotation. Now if we are seeing hundreds of armored vehicles being moved to the border, day after day, THAT’S a prelude to invasion.
