On July 14, 2 pro-Kiev fighters were killed and another one was injured when their sabotage and reconnaissance unit of pro-Kiev forces failed to cross the frontline and enter the territory controlled by the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in eastern Ukraine. One of the killed ‘Ukrainian fighters’ appeared to be a citizen of Estonia, Mikola Ilin. SF covered this situation in details July 17 (LINK). However, on July 21, the situation with the failed attack of pro-Kiev forces developed even further when the Union of Bloggers of Ukraine released photos and videos allegedly obtained from his phone.
The released photos and videos supposedly reveal a coordinated deployment of a large number of US troops in the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine. According to US officials, US forces are not deployed on the frontline with the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and conduct training and advice missions only. Nonetheless, the released content demonstrates that the official US version is as always far from reality. US forces seem to be working in a close proximity with the frontline and support operations of pro-Kiev fighters in the region.
It should be noted that the current Kiev regime is not interested in political solution of the conflict in eastern Ukraine and sabotage negotiations with the people’s republics and the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Local sources report regular violations of the ceasefire regime by pro-Kiev forces. Thus, US troops deployed near the frontline are in fact directly involved in the conflict.

In Donetsk the terrorists were heavily armed from the beginning. They surounded military convoys with heavy mgs and grenade launchers. They attacked police headquarters with assault weapons too. So it’s a good thing that in Odessa Ukrainians got prepared and served them the lesson they will never forget.
