Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union have signed an agreement on free trade zone, reports Tass.
Russia and Vietnam also signed an agreement on MFN Russian goods and investment.
Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Viktor Khristenko called the agreement on the accession of Vietnam to the EAEC “historical fact.”
The EEC estimated that the EAEC will save about $55-60 million per year and Vietnam – $5-10 million.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev spoke said that 40 countries are interested to participate in the EAEC.
