Voices of the decisive part of the Russian elite are becoming louder and louder amid the slowly but steadily growing dissatisfaction of the society with the ‘balanced approach’ of the country’s military political leadership towards the Kiev regime.
Evgeny Prigozhin, most widely known as the head of Wagner group, and Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Russia’s Republic of Chechnya, are probably the public representatives of this part of the Russian elite.
In these context, it is interesting to take a look on comment made by Evgeny Prigozhin regarding PR moves of some Russian bureaucrats amid de-facto conflict with NATO in Ukraine.
The following comment was published via Evgeny Prigozhin’s official Telegram channel:
Question from the editorial staff of IA REX and response:
QUESTION:
Good afternoon, colleagues!
Dear Evgeny Viktorovich!
There is widely spread Information that Dmitry Rogozin [SF comment: former head of Roscosmos] often visits the Donbass, and, according to some reports, he met with Wagner PMC fighters there. Can you comment on this?
ANSWER:
We publish a comment by Evgeny Viktorovich:
“We already see how wonderfully our satellites fly and how we have advanced in this direction. I think that trips of this kind are absolutely useless and do not lead to anything positive.
I must say that positions of PMC “Wagner” are at the front, in close proximity to the enemy. Therefore, various kinds of “checkers” do not go there, including for the purpose of PR. In addition, I know well the corporate spirit of PMC “Wagner”, in fact, I form it myself. I think that if he had tried to meet with one of Wagner members, he would hardly have been accepted.
In principle, the PMC “Wagner” units are quite well trained and are closely monitoring NATO representatives in their sights. Therefore, if a person in NATO clothes [SF comment: Rogozin has been recently photographed in fancy NATO-produced military clothes] approached the positions of the PMC “Wagner”, then I think we would send him in a plastic bag for identification.”
It is highly likely that such comments indicate that the dissatisfaction of the society with ‘negotiations-seeking approach’ in Ukraine is not limited to only general masses.
Folks, I hope you all read the stories from his jail time. His pleased many of his fellow friends with great passion 🥰🙈🙊
Can’t speak for Prigozhin as he’s “back seat” material by virtue of his association with a merc corporation… Rogozin will be replacing the Zi0ni$t titualr head bitch soon!… Pu-Tin needs to be falling down the stairs more often till it snaps his neck!
These guys don’t speak for Russian society, but they do speak for nationalistic, militaristic right-wingers and hawks in the government
Ramzan Kadyrov was sad and wept that so many of his Islamist fighters died on both sides in the Ukraine conflict.
It takes time to ramp-up the military and the military-industry. Like colonel McGregor says: it isn’t about territory, rather about attrition, like Russia waisted Napoleon’s and Hitler’s armies beforehand.
” like Russia waisted Napoleon’s and Hitler’s armies beforehand. ”
It’s rather a bad omen for the rogue states of US/NATO.
President Putin is seeking a global alternative to the US mafia model of theft and obedience and Terrorist proxies.
President Putin realises that the majority of the global population despises the USA policies.
President Putin is wisely showing the world that Russia is NOT a USA 2.0. He is instead seeking a world that craves for honest trade and the demise of NATO’s endless wars of political choice.
Putin is often reading my and a few other comments here at SF, and is therefore well informed about the global situation.
” Putin is often reading my and a few other comments here at SF, and is therefore well informed about the global situation.”
“my and few others” – a little bit conceited?
I think it clearly shows why third parties generally should shut their mouth about the top commands strategic decisions. Women’s gossip on Telegram about Rogozin’s individual travels and clothes …………sigh.
” It is highly likely that such comments indicate that the dissatisfaction of the society with ‘negotiations-seeking approach’ in Ukraine is not limited to only general masses.”
This statement indicates , that ” the dissatisfaction of the society with ‘negotiations-seeking approach’ ” can be taken for granted.
But for me it is not so sure. You must always be cautious , what the media report about the majority opinion in a country. It’s not the same as the voices on TV , in magazines or internet. I know some Russians , who are quite cautious and patient and also support this cautious approach of Putin and Russian government. My impression is , the people like Prigozhin are still small minority. It is rather the Russian common opinion , that Prigozhin and similar are necessary at the moment , they do a good job, but they are not the ones who should lead this war. It is the task for Putin.
Prigozhin is far-right. Dugin is far-left. What do you expect?
Ya prinimayu !
Yeah, never was much impressed with Rogozin or any of the other front men for the various space programs operating on the planet. When you honestly think it through, it gets real irritating real fast.
Prigozhin and Dugin are very radical for my taste.
I wonder was the losers of Wagner’s are thinking about their chief after all the reports coming out about him enjoying giving oral pleasures to his cellmates 🥰🙈🙊
