Yes, you did read that headline correctly. What would be an extraordinary event in most countries, is just another day in Kiev where for days, former Georgian President and criminal aggressor of the Ossetian/Abkhazia conflict, Mikheil Saakashvili has led marchers demanding the resignation of Kiev regime leader Petro Poroshenko.

While a “new Maidan” is well underway and with Mikheil Saakashvili becoming a somewhat unlikely leader of various mobs who seek to remove Poroshenko from power and install the former Georgian leader in his place, Kiev’s authorities stormed an apartment where Saakashvili had been living.
At that moment, Saakashvili fled to the roof and threatened to jump.
Eventually he was “talked down” and taken into police custody and questioned for what is being reported only as “criminal activities”.
However, moments later, he was broken free from the police van where he was being held, when the vehicle and its driver were overpowered by the pro-Saakashvili mob.

During his speech, Saakashvil stated,
“I will lay down my life for Ukraine’s freedom. I want to call on all the Kievans to take to the streets today, to gather in Maidan and start the process of deliverance of Petro Poroshenko and his gang from Ukraine”.

This is an anecdote if it would not be tragic. My wife (she is Ukrainian) says that she’s ashamed of her compatriots. “How people could believe and follow this scum Saakashvili who’s wanted in his own country”…How come there’s no law, no state – everyone does what ever he wants if there’s enough of them and they got some force? Police has no power, people with guns run around streets blocking TV stations… complete absense of actual governing,j ust looting what little is left from Soviet Union”
Saakasvili trying to clean up Ukraine is like mud trying to clean up some dirt. But what’s going on? Someone’s after him, that much is clear. But why not just let him jump? Probably because he’s got lots of post-death guarantees that will spill the beans and such. He must have lots of material, he’s been at the heart of some of the vilest operations around. But someone in the Uki hierarchy wants to capture him and neutralise him, without killing him. So he has his back against the wall and the best play appears to be to start another revolution, channelling all the frustration in Ukraine against the ruling elite. The result might be better than what they have now.
