War On Gorizont: Saudi Arabia Calls For Urgent Summit With Gulf And Arab League Leaders Over Growing Tensions In Region

Saudi Arabia has called for urgent meetings of the regional Gulf Cooperation Council and the Arab League to discuss growing tensions in the Middle East.

The state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on May 18 King Salman had invited Gulf leaders and Arab states to emergency summits in Mecca on May 25 and May 30. The declared goal is to discuss recent “aggressions and their consequences” in the region.

“Out of Keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to consult and coordinate with the leaders of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states as well as the leaders of Arab League countries, in all matters that would enhance the security and stability in the region and due to attacking commercial maritime ships, in the territorial waters of the United Arab Emirates, in addition to the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi Militias attacks on two pumping stations, within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and due to the grave consequences of such attacks on the regional and international peace as well as security, in addition to the supply routes and the stability of the world oil markets, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has invited the leaders of the GCC member states and the leaders of the Arab countries to hold two extraordinary summits, in Makkah, on Thursday 25th of Ramadan 1440 H, corresponding to May 30, 2019, to discuss these aggressions and their consequences, on the region, an official source, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced here tonight,” the SPA reported.

Saudi Arabia’s crown prince discussed regional situation in a phone call with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the Saudi Media Ministry tweeted on May 19. According to experts, the US “directed” its regional “ally” ahead of the summits regarding the situation in the region.

Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of the State for Foreign Affairs and Member of the Cabinet came with a statement describing the Saudi stance on the developing crisis in the region, the SPA reported on May 19.

He said that Riyadh “does not want a war, is not looking for it and will do everything to prevent it”. He continued by saying that “if the other side chooses war, the Kingdom will respond firmly and decisively and will defend itself and its interests.”

As Saudi officials always do, the foreign minister blamed Iran for the escalation and welcomed the US actions in the region.

“Al-Jubeir explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hopes that wisdom will prevail and that the Iranian regime and its proxies will distance themselves from reckless behaviors, and will avert danger in the region, and that the Iranian regime will not lead the region to dangerous consequences.

Al-Jubeir said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia calls upon the international community to take a firm stance against this regime in order to stop and prevent it from spreading destruction and chaos throughout the world.

This came during a press conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Riyadh today, where Al-Jubeir said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with great concern the latest developments at the regional and international arenas, which are escalating because of the actions of the Iranian regime and its hostile proxies in the region.

With regard to the Saudi and GCC stance on deployment of US troops in the Gulf, the Minister of the State for Foreign Affairs said that the GCC states have agreements with the United States, which is an ally and friendly state, stressing the importance of maintaining the security and stability of this very important and sensitive region, which is the main source of oil, to the international economy,” the SPA reported.

Tensions have soared in the Middle East with the US deploying an aircraft carrier and strategic bombers to deter Iran and speculations that Teheran may have been involved in a sabotage attack on four ships including two Saudi oil tankers off the UAE’s Fujairah. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Houthis carried out a successful attack on a major Saudi oil pipeline, which provided an alternative export route if the Strait of Hormuz closed.

It’s interesting to note that the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said the his country is not pursuing war.

“The difference between us and them is that they are afraid of war and don’t have the will for it,” Major General Hossein Salami said.

Both Saudi Arabia and the UAE understand that a hot war in the region would lead to a large-scale crisis. In the case of Saudi Arabia, this crissi may even lead to the destruction of the country’s statehood. Therefore, both the UAE and Saudi Arabia prefer to focus their efforts on political and media pressure on Iran.

While it seems that the Middle East is on the brink of the new hot war, it seems unlikely that such a development may occur in the coming days. One carrier strike group and a strategic bomber task force are not enough to defeat Iran avoiding a deveastating response from its forces. Therefore, if Washington is set to wage a war, it would likely need up to a month to concentrate the needed forces.

I am wondering why the author chose the Russian word for horizon (gorizont) in the title if the report came from an Arab source. The word for horizon in Arabic is ufuq, so the only reason would seem to be that the author is Russian or the report appeared in Russian as well as Arabic and the author reads Russian but no Arabic. Just wondering. Again, you guys could use some editing and translation services. I volunteer. Free of charge of course.

Promitheas Apollonious

ukranians work in this site.

Vince Dhimos

Makes sense. The Uke word also starts with G.

Anrma

Probably just a typo: g is next to h on keyboard…

Vince Dhimos

Gorizont is the word in Russian and Ukrainian. It ends in t as well just as in the title above.

Israel has the capability due to which they have recently launched a prob to the moon by its own rocket. The Israeli enemity with the Muslim world is not hidden. Therefore, any time Israel can use this rocket to nuke any country in the world.

Joe Kerr

Israel used a Space X falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral as its launcher, although the probe that crash landed on the moon was Israeli made.

Rob

I see. Thanks for information.

Selbstdenker

Rob, you should read and understand, before you post such nonsense. Directing a rocket to launch a satellite or a probe towards the moon is a different issue then launching a rocket with payload on a parabolic curve targeting a point on earth. time for correction is minimal, and if a mistake had been made the target cannot be hit. Why does Israhel use planes to attack Syria, if they were so experienced in directing rockets? The risks using rockets would be much less than using planes, but obviously they are not able to direct a ground based rocket even close to a target.

Rob

What is missile. It is a rocket with payload of Nuclear or HE weapons instead of satellite or some other type of payloads. For ICBM mostly three stage rocket is used to take the payload to the atmosphere of a target in the country. Then the payloads with the help of guidance system etc directed to the targets.

Sinbad2

It’s about mass, a 10 kilo satellite is not that hard, a 2 ton nuke is a lot harder. The reality is Israel is a relatively backward nation, it can’t enrich uranium, it has to steal it, it can’t build missiles, it modifies American missiles.

Rob

The nuke weight is 80Kg to 1000kg. The 80kg nuke is 20kt while 1000kg is one megatons. Mostly nukes are 150kg to 300kg with yields 150kt to 300kt. That can be easily carried by tactical missiles and ICBMs.

Sinbad2

“For ICBM mostly three stage rocket is used to take the payload to the atmosphere of a target in the country.”

First you talk of ICBM’s, then you change it to tactical ballistic missiles? But just in case you are mathematically challenged, 8 150KG warheads equals 1.2 tons. But in the real world, a US Minuteman carries 10 x 475 kiloton nukes.

Vince Dhimos

Yeah but the moon probe crashed.

Rob

Iran is the only country in the entire Islamic world that has a satellite launch vehicle and have launched its own satellite in the orbit. Muslim countries should learn from Iran instead fighting with each other for Israel and America.

iosongasingsing

The Jews fear the Persians because they know that they are not Arabs but Indo-Europeans, like them who are Ashkenazi and Aryan, not at all Semitic.

Noland

Yeah “kinda” like that

Noland

…if the other side chooses war, the Kingdom will respond firmly and decisively and will defend itself and its interests…

– Adel al-Jubair

Juuust as soon as our brave soldiers and mercenaries finished pulling their pants up after the last Houthi retaliation.

Thank god “the other side” is in no hurry to attack!

d'Artagnan

Believe me, even with US masters protection Saudis will lose all their oil infrastructure to precision Iranian missiles in less than 5 minutes (missile flying time across the 150 kms max width of the Persian Gulf). All of Saudi oil facilities are in the repressed Shia eastern province, already seething with unrest. The Saudis will be back riding camels in a week.

Promitheas Apollonious

at least they have camels and horses I wonder what the rest of us we be riding on, if this shit is not stopped.

Noland

Who cares, let it happen – entire ‘plane’ is Wack af. At this point…

Promitheas Apollonious

obviously you not using a car for your transportation do you.

goingbrokes

Buses and trains will be hit just the same. And aircraft.

Promitheas Apollonious

no they will not hit the same. I you can not think why, I will explain it to you. Short version private cars fuel is paid by one individual public transport is paid by the tax payer who are many.

goingbrokes

The difference is marginal, maybe a day or so. This is because fuel price underlies all other prices today. Food and energy costs will rise rapidly, and public transport is no exception. If tax payer has no money he can’t be taxed = public transport stops. Governments don’t have any money. They finance everything from taxes and Central Bank loans. But when economy collapses there is no tax money to spend and even the Central Bank won’t extend credit = no money for public transport either.

Promitheas Apollonious

what you say is true but with an exception of the global companies who run western governments and the banking system of west. With what they do warranty for them to monopolize everything in ways they have not manage up to now even though when the oil prices pass the 100 euro mark most of the independent transport companies have bankrupted and been taken over by global companies still many of them manage to weather it out.

But it stopped 75% of the individual travel to their business using their private cars so if you actually think about it then you understand that the main aim is the individual becoming 100% dependent to them. if you understand that and think not as an individual but as they think and act and for what result then maybe you also understand what I mean with what you answered to. As for governments been broke it is all an illusion created in your heads. The governments of west are using electronic fiat money so they been bankrupted day one who waive their right to sovereign states and become a branch of the international banking system of the west. Especially the ones who drop their coin for $ or euro.

remember one thing who ever controls water – food and energy controls the world or the part of it they control this three elements of life.

Pave Way IV

I still think the pipeline attack was head-choppers stirring up trouble for the al Sauds. The place was ripe for an Arab Spring II. Wahhabi clerics were loyal to the al Sauds as long as the sheckels kept flowing. Today, the al Sauds are useless as well as detested. UAE’s al Nayan are next on the chopping block. ISIS? Al Qaeda? Who cares – we know who created them and what they are. Any label will do.

ZATO must be delighted it sold the emerging caliphate all that sophisticated weaponry. Wait until our sons start coming home in body bags – killed by those same weapons.

Rob

Guys you don’t know that why Saudi Arabia stick with America and Israel because America have taken their all gold. Saudi Arabia is a piece of shit now. They are permanent slave of America.

d'Artagnan

Saudis cowardly puppets, even according to their US masters, “could not fight their way out of a paper bag”, let alone take on Iran.

iosongasingsing

Jubair wants to defend the peace of ISIS, let them slaughter, crucify, burn people alive, rapes and enslave women. Exterminate all Shiites and Christians but sparing Jews and Wahhabis. An atomic bomb on the head of this unclean, brotherhood of Bin the ripper, would not be wasted at all.

Joe Kerr

One carrier strike group wouldn’t be enough for a conventional strike, but sufficient for a pre-emptive nuclear one, perhaps using subs with the carrier a diversion.

Andrei

You are so fucking idiot,, idiot is little for your name it is hard to find a word to describe your fuck up brain Do you even have any idea what will happen if nuclear weapons are used??? Thanks to God that idiots like you are not in any government … Fuck of and shoot yourself you don’t deserve to live between humans… You have no concept in of life You disregard the life itself You God dam idiot

Promitheas Apollonious

idiots usually have no suicidal tendencies on the other hand psychopaths like the ones who run western governments and puppets do. And learn not to call people names unless you have a personal issue with the one you calling names. On the other hand if you do have an argument maybe is better to make it with out name calling so you are taken seriously and not as a low level mental case.

Andrei

Saudi Arabia is not a psychopath government?? I become so infuriated on people ho think and Express themselves in such a way that it blows you away how they think… A nuclear strike will be devastating for all world not only for that country ho takes the hit. So my wish is that people who don’t understand what means nuclear strike or what a nuclear bomb can cause, is to shut the fuck up.. and to don’t open their mouth in public, including Government officials. I hope only peace in the world

Noland

Ur right Andrei and I agree w/(pretty much) all you’ve said.

But if certain things are inevitable then it is simply a reflection of the True state of the world. ‘i’m afraid”

grumpy_carpenter

A lot of these guys who think the use of nuclear weapons get their concepts of war from movies and video games.

They think it’s all about the big bang not realizing the absolute horror of the aftermath or the tremendous pressure governments would be under to mobilize their nuclear forces or lose them ….. I believe with the end of the INF treaty we’re down to around 15 minutes to get missiles in the air …. or less if the leaders believe stealth works as advertised.

Joe Kerr

The U.S. has already officially stated that it reserves the right to use nukes as a first strike, not just for defence. Go read it up, google it (assuming your micro-brain is capable). If not, go blow yourself, moron.

Promitheas Apollonious

yes but so have russians and I am sure the moment any co nuclear it will have a response to them in kind. If nuclear is used in ME it will not only disturb oil flow for a very long time but imagine what will happen when a nuclear bomb hit an oil well.

Leon Auguste

Even Hollywood and Bollywood can’t imagine that! Catastrophe is an understatement.. it beats my pea brain how the world has gotten to this stage .. pure evil

Promitheas Apollonious

well zioamericans and handlers of them is exactly what they are leading to happen the way they go about it. They are going down and are about to take the rest of the world with them.

Sinbad2

It’s our fate, we breed like a virus and destroy our host, destroying ourselves is inevitable.

Leon Auguste

unfortunate

Joe Kerr

Trump just said today (and reported on MSM news e.g. yahoo) that war with Iran will mean “the official end of Iran”. That’d mean total long-term destruction of Iran. The U.S. is the only country to have used nukes in war, and can and will do it again if it can get away with it. If Iran had nukes or was protected by a nuclear armed ally, Trump wouldn’t do it… and that’s THE question, what would Russia’s response be?

Promitheas Apollonious

Iran does need to have nukes his allies have. As for trumpet he said many things and farted more than his ass can handle. Remember also what he was saying for Nk as well any one that opposed him just like a bull;y in a school yard that all is need to shut up for even is a severe hit behind the ear.

Going against iran as you suggesting will have immediate retaliation form both china and russia. when usa used what you said much of the global reality was very different than it is today so what is been done last century with out paying a price and what can be done now days is two all together different issues.

Joe Kerr

China’s concerned about Trump’s threats to Iran, but more so in regard to China/Taiwan relations and U.S. meddling there. Russia’s still the main military obstacle for the U.S. in the M.E., and Putin needs to pass a message to the bloated draft dodger about where his rabid dribble could lead.

Promitheas Apollonious

I suggest you check the relation between china and iran before you assume what china think or will do. Iran is a key country for the silk road. 90% of her modern war industry is been build in cooperation with china, same as her missile batteries copy of the S300 among other weapons not to mention what will mean for chinas economy the lost of the oil supplied to her by iran and not only. Same as is the case with venezuela.

Things are not as they seem if you only look at the surface. Also dont assume because russians are not acting based on uk/usrael zio mentality and mimic their farting that they have no make their position crystal clear what will happen if any one use nukes against their allies.

When they need to actually react to an act as what the globalist are preparing to do or threaten they will do, the answer will come swift and with absolute no warning. As I said many times about the american farting is easy to threaten and very hard to actually do what you threaten about doing.

Sinbad2

“Do you even have any idea what will happen if nuclear weapons are used???”

DO YOU? I hear people raving on about how the world will end, they get their information from the same people who said Iraq had WMD’s, so it must be true.

The fact is nobody knows, but like all things American, it’s bound to be exaggerated.

At another level the planet is dying from the plague of man, and culling 90% of us would be good for the planet.

klove and light

Countdown has started…dices Keep rolling…………and 99% of Worlds Population is busy with whores, drugs and useless mind Control TV Shows/movies………well good luck

Promitheas Apollonious

dont worry it be a very good party for the ones who are prepared for what is coming hopefully it will not start raining nukes so at least we have time to enjoy it.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

Saudis have absolutely no idea the hell, destruction and shit storm they will face in war with Iran, it would be the end of their entire existence
