After almost two decades of the war in Afghanistan, Washington seems to be about to admit its lose in the conflict with the Taliban.
On March 12, US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad reavealed that the US and the Talibah had “agreed in draft” on the US troops withdrawal from the war-torn country.
(2/4) Peace requires agreement on four issues: counter-terrorism assurances, troop withdrawal, intra-Afghan dialogue, and a comprehensive ceasefire. In January talks, we "agreed in principle" on these four elements. We're now "agreed in draft" on the first two.

(4/4) My next step is discussions in Washington and consultations with other partners. We will meet again soon, and there is no final agreement until everything is agreed.

Another issue, which already included in this ‘draft’ agreement is the counter-terrorism effort. However, it remains unclear what this mean in the case of the US-Taliban talks. First of all, Washington has been for a long time considering the Taliban a terrorist group linked to al-Qaeda. The second porblem is that the US has indirectly and sometimes directly (if we take into account ‘mysterious activity’ of US helicopters) assisted ISIS in Afghanistan in order to undermine the Taliban influence.
HINT: Following the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington, the US accused the Taliban of harboring their alleged mastermind, Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. This became a formal justification for the US invasion in Afghanistan in late 2001. Bin Laden was eventually located in neighboring Pakistan and killed in a May 2011 raid. However, the war against the Taliban continued without a real sucess. The US-backed Kabul government is in fact controlling only about a half of the country.
According to Khalilzad remarks, he’s now returning from Qatar’s Doha to Washington to consult “with other partners”. He also added that “there is no final agreement until everything is agreed”. However, even if the final agreement is not reached this time, the US has already admitted that the Taliban is not just a terrorist group, but a legal side of the Afghan conflict. This opens additional prospects for the Afghan movement, which is obviously strengthening its influence.

I wouldn’t be surprised, if ISIS would conquer Afghanistan after the withdrawal.
Warshington. Best typo ever.
Withdrawal of US and other foreign troops may not necessary be a good thing for Russia and the ex Soviet Republics bordering Afghanistan, China including. I am afraid whether Taliban or ISIS ( i personally see no difference between the two in their ultimate goal to re- instate or preserve a medieval society). Russia and China may have step in ( with all the associated cost) if they do not want the Islamic cancer spreading to the Central Asian Republics and beyond the boarders into Russia and China itself.
try and connect your brain to your fingers and the worst cancer on earth is the colonies and their masters.
Wahhabism revived by UK 007 Mr. Hempher, IsraHell & The Jewish House of Saud…they are the Devilworshipping Imposters Who Created the “ Islamic Cancer” you are talking about….They have helped Create the Mujahideen, Al-Qaeda, The Masonic Muslimbrotherhood, ISIS & all other Operation Gladio Headchopping Terrorists….The West is Responsible for every Major War in the Last couple of Centuries…the Russians & Iranians have been negotiating and training Taliban in Afghanistan for quite some time now….
Except that agreement-incapable Washington is systematically averse to honouring anything other than it’s Military Industrial Corpocracy.
There are over 100,000 CIA and other “contractors” in Afghanistan and does anyone in their real mind think that they will leave? If anything, now the CIA and Brit poodles are transporting over 30,000 Wahhabi headchoppers from Syria and Iraq. The Americunts intend to use Afghanistan as a terror base against China, Russia and Iran.
You know what it means, don’t you? A US withdrawal from Afghanistan means they intend to up their ISIS game there, just like in Iraq. They can’t freely overrun Afghanistan with Daesh under their own watchful eyes while it’s officially occupied by them.
There’s just no way that US freely agrees to withdraw from Afghanistan. Not only for gains from opium and heroin and natural resources, but also because it’s a gateway to central Asia and is an important place to hurt Russia and China, prevent an effective cooperation of the countries and halt BRI and the best tool to do that is unleashing Daesh and preventing other countries from destroying it by squatting and pretending to fight it while in fact they are supporting it.
Good and realistic analysis. Even Rouhani in Iraq has not missed the fact that Americunts and NATO poodles are creating a new Wahhabi strain of headchoppers in Afghanistan by transporting them from Syria and Iraq. If you think logically, there were supposedly 30,000 Wahhabi scum in Euphrates valley, and only 700 surrendered to the Kurd turds at Baghouz, so where did the rest go? There has been heavy US helo traffic from Euphrates valley into Turkey and then these headchoppers are transported from CIA registered aircraft with Romanian, Bulgarian and Polish registrations in Afghanistan and Tajikistan. There is a real problem coming for Russia and Iran in particular from the new Central Asian Daesh from Afghanistan. Putin needs to get his head out of Zionist arse and pay attention and work with Iran in securing the region. The Chinese are smarter and have started real time intel sharing with Iran lately.
Afghanistan is shaping up to be the next US proxy headchopper haven.
If I was the Taliban, I’d ask for money.
