Congrats Russia. Beautiful jet. The best, most technologically advanced most beautiful jet ever created. Its a marvel. Now ramp up production please. Because deterrence is gold.

Lone Ranger

Top speed is a lot more than 2100kph. The Su-35 can do 2400 fully loaded with 35% less thrust. Real top speed is more close to Mach3 ;)

Lone Ranger

CIA trolls and hasbarats will cry and rage. Ukropnazis too ;)

Music? Ouanqueurs.

occupybacon

Where is it? I can’t see it.

Sencer

Making unnecessary and stupid moves , thats what the russian jets are designed for. And what kind of stealth Su 57 has with that huge and bare engines , is a mystery to all the aviation experts.

Tudor Miron

That’s what they say when they can’t do something no matter how hard they try. Unnecessary and stupid moves :) You jealousy is eating you from inside.

Lone Ranger

You spelled U.S. jets wrong… The shape of the engine nozzle has nothing to do with stealth, 2D thrust vectoring works better with rectangular nozzles, 3D thrust vectoring works better with Cylindrical nozzles. That’s all. The Su-57 has variable intake manifolds with ducted air inlets. It has RAM coating, active radar cancellation and plasma stealth. It also has second gen sensor fusion with AI. 360 radar coverage, low and high freq radars, IRST, UV early missile warning system. And laser directional countermeasures system. Aside from that it has the most advanced electronic warfare suit ever put on a jet the Himalayas system a further development of the world famous Khibiny.

Lone Ranger

I wont even mention the fact that even if you were right(which you aren’t), in most situations jets at BVR fly head on, so the engines are not visible. If it’s not head on than it wouldn’t matter either because the engine heat will light up the IRST like a Christmas tree from a 100km, even if it has perfect radar stealth…

Gary Sellars

Su-57 has radar blockers in the intake ducts rather than F-22 style serpentine ducts that impose too many performance and structural constraints (sub-optimal airflows to engines, lack of large centerline internal weapons bays capable of carrying long range stand-off weapons).

Lone Ranger

That too. But after take off the turbines are not visible anymore from the outside.

Gary Sellars

The way the engines are canted, the compressor blade faces are not visible from the frontal aspect. But yes, you are correct.

Wolfgang Wolf

especially for the american “specialists” who love fapping on stealth and supremacy blabla: the russian armed forces are a DEFENSIVE force, and not an aggressive attack force like US/NATO! for defending the motherland, you dont need the most expensive flying crap (F-35, etc) or other Boeing-sponsored-glossy-paper-bs…..

Terry Lawrence

76? Not 760? Are they preparing for war with NATO or Botswana?

Swift Laggard II

natu? you think it will be conventional? sarmat, satan, bulava, iskander, borei, yassen, kalibr – have you heard those names before?

Gary Sellars

You forgot Zircon, Poseidon, Avangard, Armata, Burevestnik… so many others :-D

Swift Laggard II

yep. many many tools in the box. just wanted to give him an idea of what is available in the unconventional delivery arsenal and a start off point for his research

Lone Ranger

76 of these could defeat the whole air force of the EU. Aside from that Russia will never tell you how many they really have. U.S. during the cold war estimated Russia has around a 120 nuclear subs vs 64 of the U.S. After the cold war ended it turned out that Russia has operated 268nuclear subs. So much to that…

Gary Sellars

76 is all they will need…. It will like X-Wing Starfighters against Sopwith Camels….

Dawn

What a beauty…
