The mass usage of force by Belarusian authorities against mass protests that erupted after the presidential election play a dirty trick on President Alexander Lukashenko.
While the decisive usage of force was a useful tool to supress the coup attempt and violent street riots on August 9 and August 10, the further actions of Police and the Internal Troops against protests on August 11, 12, 13 and 14, when the opposition mostly switched to nonviolent resistance approaches undermined the image of the Lukashenko government among the neutral part of the population and even among its supporters. This situation became a trigger for the intensification of street protests (this time peaceful ones), the first successes of the opposition’s attempts to stage a nation-wide strike and contributed to the popularity of the anti-Lukashenko movement in general.
On August 14, the Belarusian Electoral Commission officially declared Lukashenko a winner of the presidential election with 80.1% of votes, while the opposition candidate, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, got 10.1%. Regardless these numbers, the government says that the election was fire and transparent, while the opposition has declared it rigged, the situation on the ground has clearly turned not into the favor of the acting president.
Pro-opposition media organizations, including those managed from Poland and Lithuania, have achieved a decisive victory over pro-government media, and the popularity of protests inside the country and on the international scene is growing.
Harsh statements of the top Belarusian leadership mocking all the protesters as solely provocateurs and foreign agents and denying the usage of force against protesters also played their own role. While it’s wrong to deny actions of destructive forces, it’s an apparent distortion of reality to describe all opposition supporters as foreign agents or provocateurs.
“For starters, I’m still alive and I haven’t fled abroad as some of our vaunted, ‘informed’ compatriots are drumming up that the president has fled the country and is now abroad,” President Alexander Lukashenko said on August 14 adding that his opponents are trying to “stir up laborers’ associations”.
He also warned workers against participating in strikes.
“Today you don’t produce 10 tractors, they don’t go to the market, and tomorrow the Germans will come with the Americans. The Russians will bring their equipment,” the president said.
The anti-Russian statements of the Belarusian leaders are also surprising in the sitaution while it’s an open secret that a large part of protests is being coordinated from Poland. From the practical point of view, the destruction of relations with the only really ally of Belarus (and a de-facto sponsor of its economy) also does not help his regime to remain in power.
Meanwhile, police officers guarding the government building in Minsk put down their shields in an apparent sign of the collapse of the commitment of at least a part of law enforcements to use the force against protestsers. Pro-opposition media outelts cirtulate over a dozens of photos supposedly showing resignation letters of police officers and personnel of the Internal Troops. Earlier, the opposition staged a flash mob motivating former police officers and servicemembers to throw away their unifroms on cameras. Opposition supporters achieved another important victory, they got the moral ascendancy over the Lukashenko government in the eyes of residents of large cities.
The Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) was hit by protests and its workers joined the anti-government rally on August 14. The plant is one of the biggest employers in the Belarus capital, giving jobs to some 15,000 people. The incident took place shortly after Belarus Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko arrived there to talk with protesters. He reportedly refused to speak to the crowd in front of the press, angering many there and setting off the protest march. Workers of several other plants across Belarus also joined the protests.
The inability of the Belarusian government to participate in a real dialogue with the pro-opposition part of the population is among the key problems that put it in the current situation.
#Belarus. Happening right now. Thousands of demonstrators are marching on the main street in #Minsk. Workers of MTZ, Minsk Tractor Works, who announced strike, joined street protesters. Last time something like this happened 30 years ago. pic.twitter.com/fhRGB5uFHa

Meanwhile, Belarus is facing an expected and increasing pressure on the international scene. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya that fled to Lithuania declared (with an apparent help from foreign special services) that she was staring to create a special council tasked with the transition of power from Lukashenko to her. The council, according to Tsikhanouskaya, should include representatives of all associations that are interested in dialogue and the peaceful transfer of power – labor collectives, parties, trade unions, etc. She also called on the ‘international community’, including European states, to help with the dialogue with the current authorities. It should be noted that, according to the opposition version of events, Tsikhanouskaya won the election (with 10% sic).
The European Union and the United States already condemned violence in Belarus and expressed their ‘concerns’ over the protests there. Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland declared that they are ready to become mediators in the dialogue between the opposition and the Lukashenko government. Apparently they hope that Lukashenko forgot how ‘EU states’ already became mediators between the government and the ‘opposition’ in Ukraine in 2014. The Yanukovich government fell just a few days after they supposedly reached a deal to settle the tensions.
Protests against the Lukashenko government in Europe:
Meanwhile, Alexander Schallenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs Austria, said that the European Union is not interested in the rapprochement between Russia and Belarus. He added that the current situation in Belarus is the setback for the EU-Belarusian relations and supported calls for sanctions against the Lukashenko government. The European Union sees the threat of sanctions as a useful tool to pressure Lukashenko to ‘negotiate’ (surrender to) with the opposition.
It is interesting to see how Lukashenko’s best friend in the European Union and the United States immediately betrayed him amid the crisis and in fact work to overthrow his government. The de-facto anti-Russian foreign policy, the public anti-Russian rhetoric and the Lukashenko-initiated economic and political conflicts with Russia appeared to be not enough to satisfy them. They need the fully-controlled and ‘European’ Belarus – i.e. the goal of Euro-Atlantic structures is to get a full foreign control of Belarus, like they (led by the United States) did in Ukraine.
As to Russia, which is painted by the ‘destructive force’ by the West and even by the government of Lukashenko for years funded by the Russians, it seems that Moscow’s main problem is the lack of political will to provide a really strong policy towards its supposed ally. The Russian indulgence to Lukashenko’s multiple anti-Russian moves and the unwillingness of Moscow to whip into the line the Lukashenko regime and put an end to its destructive actions led to the current situation. The years of direct and indirect sponsorship of Belarus (billions of dollars) are turning into dust. Furthermore, a large part of the Belarusian population, which in fact survived due to Russian donations only, see Moscow as the supposed ‘aggressor’ that want to suppress the ‘democracy’ in mighty and flourishing Belarus. The soft policy towards Belarus only set conditions for the expansion of anti-Russian forces there and Lukashenko’s political adventures with the West that led to the situation, when Russia could easily get another point of instability on its border.
In own turn, Lukashenko is just reaping the fruit of his own actions of the previous years.
Russia can well do without another Ukraine situation on its borders.
Imagine if Russia ever got this much hostility on the Kamchatka border with the USA!
The French Police towards the “Yellow Jackets” legitimates requests was Belarus much WORST, none comparisons possible !
True, but that don’t matter to the MSM.
He’s not their SOB, lol.
Thats right. Macron was elected to make difficult needed reforms because no one else dared to.
Many dont like they have to duffer and of course all say they suffer hard. but minus and no innovation and finding the investments for it and several old companies and needed social service are needed to do that.
So many of those wests actuallyshoud go home as well as the rest should be compensated.
I see none of that in Bellarus and Lukashenko as well as the Opposition mainly want to be themselves and certainly not affiliated to the Russian collapse. The countries nearbye dont want any Russian influence back. They know how it is. Thats why.
It seemes as the Russian lovers still dont get Bellarus is worth nothing and EU already has other new countries and too much food.
Taking Russia is same thing. Why have Russian here, when they can stay home and send, what we nned and we pay with real money instead of their dirham shekel.
you amerikan puppets r more racist than amerikans—u want amerikan “influence”—u r an amerikan colony
If so, should we choose You or Arabistan – NO WAY.
I just tell people in Bellarus has to decide themselves and I support them for that right. They are so mismanegéd by You and before that the Zars, so its no surpice they as country just as Ukraine and others bearby will have their ups and downs for many years.
Much as Russia should have prefared Harpo or Grauch Marx. At least they were funny.
I tell You and other who I am and who we are and often dont speak for all. And why. You are exact what I see. You know nothing about anything from here about anything.
The only thing You can are the old Russian and Arabistani defence telling we all are puppets, we lie all the time, we are even racists and a colony.
Its kind of ironic the vikings found America before the Americans did. Looking back mine relatives was not there. They probatly was slaves or farmers hand.
And we as country had good relations to You before Zars aqnd You collapsed. Vitus Bering helped You finding land and coast, so You could steal it. The danish Qeen of today was family to the last Zar of Yours.
But the Bolsjevics closed Russia down west o´f Berlin and even made a wall in 1961 or else Mr Honnecher would be the only citizen in DDR.
So we tiny little ones now has most of the Baltic sea and Our neigbors back. Finland is independent, Estonia(where the capitol is named Tallin, whic say the town by the danes), Latvia, Lituania and Poland.
And Rus is made from locals naming the Vikings from KIev, Minsk and Nogorod as such on the trade route to the Byzantines and Dirhams.
Socalled high ranked people from Moscow stole our name as well as Kiev and Minsk.
And We are not surprices You sometimes act like mongols.
Just as I thought another from the Ukraine who sold their country out for a few dollars so their wives and daughters could become prostitue’s in Poland. Now ain’t you proud?….
If somebody ran an antivirus, a malwarefighter and put a spamfilter on You, You so would not exist.
We already know who you are, your a western troll from the Ukraine trying to earn a few bucks trying to peddle your propaganda that no one is buying…
If somebody ran an antivirus, a malwarefighter and put a spamfilter on You, You so would not exist Alfonso. .

Thailand Prime Minister Questions Protest Funding
The notorious US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is funding virtually every aspect of Thailand’s current “student protests” aimed at removing current government.

Only through repetitive propaganda across the Western media and their local partners in Thailand can current protests appear “student led,” “leaderless,” and “organic.”
An article published by the Bangkok Post titled, “PM: Who is financing student rallies?,” would repeat Thailand’s elected prime minister’s questions, but Bangkok Post’s reporters themselves have categorically failed to either ask or answer the same question.
Despite claiming the protests are youth-led and leaderless, middle-aged lawyer Anon Nampa of Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR) is clearly among the core leaders. He leads every significant protest in the country, both in Bangkok and upcountry.
His organization, TLHR, ceaselessly promotes the protests, providing them round-the-clock PR, legal aid, and other forms of material support.
TLHR is in turn funded by the US government via the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). TLHR’s funding was listed openly on NED’s official website in 2014.
Before TLHR and its members began leading rallies – founding members admitted TLHR is entirely funded by foreign governments.
Even the Bangkok Post previously reported this – despite apparently “forgetting” this fact more recently.
The Bangkok Post in a 2016 article titled, “The lawyer preparing to defend herself,” would admit:
…[TLHR] receives all its funding from international donors including the EU, Germany and US-based human rights organisations and embassies of the UK and Canada.
In addition to an award presented by the French Embassy, the US State Department awarded TLHR member Sirikan “June” Charoensiri the 2018 “International Women of Courage Award” presented by US First Lady Melania Trump.
The US embassy in Bangkok openly praised TLHR in its own post celebrating the award, exclaiming:
The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is proud of Sirikan “June” Charoensiri’s work as a lawyer and human rights defender, and for being recognized by the Secretary of State as an International Women of Courage award recipient.
Ms. Sirikan is a co-founder of Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR), a lawyers’ collective set up to provide pro bono legal services for human rights cases and to document human rights violations.
Thus – an organization carefully cultivated by the US government for years – propped up financially and politically and even awarded for carrying out Washington’s agenda in Thailand – is now leading protests aimed at overthrowing the elected government of Thailand.
This is not unlike US-backed regime change aimed at nations like Syria, Libya, and Ukraine where false claims of the US promoting “democracy” or “defending human rights” later turned out to be simply naked military aggression couched behind such pretexts and all aimed at wrecking nations, pilfering resources, and denying Washington’s adversaries – China and Russia – stable allies and economic partners.
In addition to TLHR the US government is also funding iLaw via the NED. It is listed on iLaw’s website as well as NED’s official website under, “Internet Law Reform Dialogue.”
US-funded iLaw is currently heading a petition to literally rewrite Thailand’s constitution, as reported by The Nation’s article, “iLaw launches petition for charter rewrite.”
It would be unimaginable for the US to tolerate a foreign-funded front – say from Russia – petitioning inside the US for the US constitution to be rewritten. It would be interesting to hear the US embassy in Bangkok explain why it believes Thailand should nonetheless tolerate similar interference in its own internal political affairs by the US and agitators it is extensively funding.
There are also a number of fake news websites funded by the US government and providing decidedly lopsided coverage of the ongoing protests including Prachatai.
Prachatai receives millions of Thai Baht a year from the US government to advance narratives that divide and destabilize Thailand and promote US interests within Thai borders.
The media front’s “executive director” Chiranuch Premchaiporn is also a “fellow” of the National Endowment for Democracy – an organization chaired by representatives not of promoting democracy and human rights – but inveterate warmongers and war criminals like Elliot Abrams, propagandists like Anne Applebaum, and representatives of America’s arms, oil, and banking sectors.
Prachatai’s activities include promoting and defending opposition groups and parties the US seeks to place into power. It has recently served as a central platform promoting ongoing unrest, protesters’ demands, and attempting to build legitimacy around all three while omitting any mention of documented foreign funding or ulterior motives involved.
Prachatai has in the past and still currently hides its US government funding. A partial disclosure made in 2011 is buried on its English website and has not been updated since. No financial disclosure at all has been made on its Thai language website.
Often the Western media and local newspapers like the Bangkok Post and The Nation will mention all of these US-funded fronts in a single article and never once mention who funds them or their connections to opposition parties attempting to deny any role in current protests.
Prachatai – for example – supplied at least one member of its staff – Nalutporn Krairisksh – as a “founding member” of billionaire Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit’s Future Forward Party. Prachatai even “interviewed” her but never disclosed her relationship with Prachatai or the fact that she still worked out of their offices even after joining Future Forward.
The conflicts of interest are numerous and alarming – but also being entirely unmentioned or even covered up. It is impropriety that should help further illustrate the true nature of Thailand’s so-called “opposition” and undermine dishonest claims that US interference in Thailand is not a serious problem.
That the US government is funding protest leaders attempting to oust the current government, while funding efforts to rewrite Thailand’s constitution, all while funding media fronts to control the narrative while doing so – constitutes a clear cut case of foreign political meddling – the sort of toxic and intolerable meddling the US accused Russia of in fiction – but is verifiably carrying out against nations like Thailand.
The US has insisted it should not suffer or tolerate foreign meddling in its own domestic affairs. Why does it believe other nations should tolerate foreign meddling? And why does the US believe it has the right to be the one who does so?

Like all other countries, Thailand complains about the NED and NGO’s but doesn’t ban and kick them out. Why complain then ?
Maybee the world is not like making children in and out but a little more complicated.
Its not complicated to make children. The complicated part is the next 9 monts and 18 years.
The with. Its easy to make war, but often very much more complicated to make peace again. Thats why we try with diplomacy and like that first.

What Are the Truly Verifiable Facts Surrounding COVID-19?
By David Skripac
Global Research, August 14, 2020
Region: USA
Theme: Media Disinformation, Science and Medicine
“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”
Those words, uttered by two-time Nobel Prize-winning chemist and physicist Marie Curie, are as relevant today as they were in her era (1867–1934). With most of the planet under some form of medical martial law, we would do well to follow her advice: understand more and fear less about the pandemic. The way to do that is to establish the verifiable, scientific facts about the SARS-CoV-2 virus and separate those facts from the fiction being touted by a fear-mongering news media. Only then will we stop surrendering our inherent freedoms to COVID-19 propaganda.
Fiction #1: Wearing a face mask will protect you and others from the coronavirus.
Fact #1: Contrary to what many medical and government officials tell us, there is no evidence to support the claim that face masks—whether N95, surgical, or cloth—protect the wearer from any virus. These so-called “medical experts” usually reference a purportedly scientific publication to support their claim. However, when the studies they point to—namely, in The Lancet and from the Mayo Clinic—are put under closer scrutiny, they fail to pass one crucial test: they never used a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). Reputable scientists consider the RCT the Holy Grail when it comes to conducting a study on a large group of people, because it eliminates the possibility of any population bias in the testing.
When we look at trials that have used the RCT method to analyze the efficacy of face masks, we find starkly different results from those that have not.
For instance, an exhaustive dental study conducted in 2016 revealed that disposable surgical face masks are incapable of providing protection from respiratory pathogens.
Then there was the study conducted this past February by Long Y, Hu T, Liu, et al., titled “Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks against influenza.” It involved a total of six RCTs and 9,171 participants. The study concluded that “the current meta-analysis shows the use of N95 compared with surgical masks is not associated with a lower risk of laboratory-confirmed influenza. It suggests that N95 respirators should not be recommended for general public and nonhigh-risk medical staffs those are not in close contact with influenza patients or suspected patients.”
Even the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has done studies on face masks by correctly using RCTs. In one report, titled “Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vol.26, No.5” and published in May 2020, the CDC did ten Randomized Controlled Trials before concluding, “Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect against accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids. There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”
As for those people who wear a cloth mask in the belief that “it’s better than wearing nothing,” a RCT conducted in 2015 showed that cloth masks do not work at all. In actuality, a cloth mask puts the wearer at increased risk of respiratory illness and viral infections.
In light of the plethora of available science on face masks, it is heartening to see that some governments are making rational decisions based on that science. In the Netherlands, for example, officials are refusing to mandate mask-wearing in public.
In the end, the face mask should be viewed as a device used by authoritarians to control the masses and enforce compliance to lawless edicts. The mask lulls wearers into feeling protected from biological harm. Meanwhile, the real harm being done to them is psychological and spiritual. By submitting to mandatory face-covering orders based on flawed science and imposed by either unelected-but-politicized medical officials and technocrats or elected-but-compromised politicians who hold positions in all levels of government—these mask wearers don’t realize that they’re handing over their precious liberties, their individuality, and even, one might say, their very souls to soulless tyrants.
Fiction #2: Scientists have isolated and purified the SARS-CoV-2 RNA virus.
Etc., etc…. https://www.globalresearch.ca/what-truly-verifiable-facts-surrounding-covid-19/5721128
Have You looked at the socalled information from the socalled AlexanderAmproz.
Where are the rest of the world?
In his last socalled comment he annonced that 87% of the senators and congressers had Israel pass port too. A simple fact chech says he cant even copy a fake site. You can get anything from him.
Be ready. Tomorrow the sun might go down in east and all muslims by the Ayatollah should pray with their behinds towards Mecca and therefore wash extra there each friday.
Peaceful protest is not enough to expel Lukashenko…violent protest with armed Nazis&nacionalist gangs means that Russian troops will enter there without restrictions…of course when the AK sounds along the streets of Minks…current people and balloon protesters dissapear!
And why would minority that has lost elections “expel” him? In the name of what? Why didn’t they “expel” Macron with infinitely bigger protests than these?!! Or Trump ?! So in US or France is OK shoot to kill or maim protesters and in Belarus absolutely not? Many of you here, George Soros “Color revolution” boys are heaving double standards. And why would Russian troops enter Minsk? Doesn’t Belarus have their army to establish some order?! The size and intensity of the demonstrations are amplified by Western media and George Soros color revolution agents…
So its like cocktail situation mixing Venezuelan with Ukrainian scenario.
I wish. I think too many makes the soup and none wash hands.
I resist to believe that the people in Belarus want the same shit as in Ukraine.
the election finished, Belarus ignored the Ukraine nazi govt, did not extradict Russian citizens—sent them to Russia
Lukashenko’s government also hardly had a chance against the organized, media and propagandistically prepared opposition. In addition, a neighbourhood that is willing to take every opportunity to celebrate the downfall.
Lithuania and Latvia have announced that Lukashenko is not the legitimate head of state. Germany currently holds the presidency of the council of the European Union, Sanctions are already in the making, and like I know our worthless Foreign Minister, he will soon join the Lithuanians in their call.
By the way: All the newspapers and media suddenly started writing in Germany about “Belarus”, but in German Belarus was always called “Weißrussland”, in the media, newspapers etc
(for example searchresults from “derSpiegel.de” for Belarus=147 hits, for Weißrussland=3109 hits).
All of a sudden it is said that “Weißrussland” would be insulting for Belarusians because it would remind of decades of foreign rule and oppression.
Nothing new from the Eastern front. I would say.
Something wrong with this articale for other articels say different this seems to be packed with propaganda rather then facts…

This video describes the Mossad tap into the US classified information network to completely drain it and use it for compromise operations and the implementation of the Jew world order’s nefarious projects against humanity.
https://youtu.be/ENK5RCW5hug
According to the Shadowgate documentary a big part of the Mossad classified information theft project uses Ukraine as a primary operations hub.

Israel is a massive threat to US national security. The ties need to be severed and the US dejudified so that it’s Jew free to correct this problem.
The Shadowgate documentary doesn’t get into the depth of the Jew component of the treason that’s being committed. This pictorial helps provide that nexus.

so Belarus stays up for subsidised oil, this is confirmed everywhere. Join Belarus the West, there is no more money left, first thing it will arrive the IMF to cut pension and public spending and they will go into Ukraine 2.0 – a drain of resources for the West. Most probably Belarussian will migrate mostly toward Russia like the Russian of Ukraine, so Russia gets maybe up to one million of new Russian speaking in their ranks – which in these days where the west is invaded by African-Arab scum aka “migrants” is really not bad.
Or Belarus could stay like this with Lukashenko gone, and also the money of Lukashenko gone because in Switzerland would be seized, locally he cannot keep and I think is not very much welcome in Russia either. The man who wanted too much ended having nothing.
