In Tennessee, the police arrested a woman who had no insurance in the hospital. 60-year-old Lisa Edwards died of a stroke, after her pleas for help were repeatedly ignored by the police officers. Officers accusing Edwards of faking mobility and breathing problems.
Edwards appears somewhat disoriented, asking the officer, “Can you call the preacher for me?”
Edwards was pronounced dead at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center the following day.

This does not excuse the Hospital who were the main culprits, or the police officers, but there’s more to this story on how she ended up by herself in Tennessee. Either way, our society and healthcare system are in shambles.
