What Happened In Czech Republic: Poison Plot Hoax And Expulsion Of Russian Diplomats

European states are enchained by Euro-Atlantic propaganda and fearmongering over the growing Russian threat. The mainstream trend to paint Russia and the Russians as an immoral and artful enemy, which is responsible for any negative development, backfired and owned the leadership of EU states itself.

The interesting fact is that this overhyped, and for most cases baseless, image of the Russians as powerful and inescapable “bad guys” even became profitable for Moscow. The never-ending fearmongering in mainstream media forced the public to respect and fear the Russians that supposedly know nothing about the tolerance and seek to use force to protect their interests. For example, this image allowed business run by ethnic Russians to avoid looting and damage during the recent wave of protests across the United States. Such an image is now pretty attractive for ordinary white people with a traditional sexual orientation in the West. There is no secret in the fact that tattoos in Russian have been becoming popular among young conservative Latin Americans.

This is how the Russians are seen in the West, but inside Russia the situation is different. The rift between the Russian citizens and Russia’s self-declared ‘new aristocracy’ has been increasing. The situation is also complicated in Russian foreign policy structures. Their employers that often got their jobs thanks to their family ties see themselves as a natural part of this ‘new aristocracy’. Infamous “Rossotrudnichestvo” (the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) holds a specific place in these circles. This organization spends billions of government money with very little result and almost without control. Often, “Rossotrudnichestvo” often serves as a sinecure for children of the elites. The most recent large diplomatic scandal involving “Rossotrudnichestvo” erupted in the Czech Republic.

On June 12, the Czech Security Information Service (BIS) released a statement announcing that it had officially closed the case about the threat of poisoning three of Prague’s municipal politicians. The statement said that the case was “simple and sad story of hostility and envy”.

“A few days ago, the BIS successfully closed the case regarding threats made on Czech politicians, which caused a range of speculations, conspiracy theories and heightened emotions. A media leak significantly complicated the work of the BIS and the police, and made it almost impossible to investigate the case,” the BIS said on its official website.

According to the statement, the BIS received an anonymous email stating that a Russian diplomat had delivered in Prague poison ricin. The information in the email was false and unreliable and was intended to harm the career of another Russian diplomat.

  • On April 27, Czech magazine Respekt released a report claiming that a Russian diplomat had brought ricin, a deadly poison, into the country to potentially kill Czech politicians who were involved in the removal of a statue commemorating Soviet war hero Marshal Ivan Konev in Prague.
  • On June 5, Czech Prime Minister Andrew Babish said that the country has declared, acting head of the branch of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in Prague Andrew Konchakova and an employee of the institution with the surname Ribakov persona non grata. Commenting on the decision, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that the expulsion of Russian diplomatic staff is not in the interests of the Czech Republic. According to her, this move damaged the relations between the countries. Zakharova added that the Czech Republic should wait a tit-for-tat response.

The ‘poisoning story’ incident demonstrated that “Rossotrudnichestvo” employers allow themselves to write reports about each other to foreign intelligence services to settle personal scores, not even for money or due to ideological reasons. National interests for such persons are just empty words. It is hard to remember any such odious incidents in the diplomatic staff of any state during the past decades. How could this happen? The moral, intellectual and professional qualities of these pseudo diplomats are a result of the environment in which they were brought up and worked. Many believe that Russia is the last bastion of the Western civilization. However, it seems that the Russian leadership either ceased to understand what it is happening or to hew to their publicly declared line.

Well Russian army come to us in 1968 to force us to be communists for twenty years. They called it contra-revolution. Many people have occupation of soviet army in memory and that is the cause of russofobia.

They make us free from fascists but brought us communism. Communism is evil. Everybody should realize it. From 1968 they stayed 21 years by us. We did not want them.

Suheil al Hassan

True. Soviets looted everything they could, even toilet paper. They brought poverty over every state they took over. Thankfully we’ve been released from the clenches of these savages. Better safe than sorry, like the hero Alexander Litvinenko or Skripal.

AM Hants

True Soviets and we’re they not Bolsheviks Communists? Remind me, how many nations emerged, when the Soviet Union fell?

Why did the family of Litvinenko, use the same PR Management Company, that were given over €500 million to spin the Iraq War? How come Skripals worked for those connected with the same company? Both had similar enemies, with the Russian Government bottom of the list.

Dawn

About Litvinenko family – only his mother fall for that false narrative with Putin… His father have seen the truth eventually and brother i think have not fallen for that – have seen video with his brother admitting that Alexander Litvinenko wanted to go back to Russia and was looking for the way to do that.. Apparently MI6 wasn’t and didn’t allowed him..

AM Hants

Interesting as wasn’t that the same with Skripals and the other character, cannot remember how to spell Boris’ surname?

Dawn

Boris Berezovskij… Same modus operandi by MI6 – using of the now useless agents one last time to blame Russia and Putin.. Although, no all went well with Berezovskij death and Scripal case was disaster from the professional point of view :)

AM Hants

That is who I was thinking of. Weird, but, believe his special adviser was Timothy Bell, who was Maaggie Thatcher’s special adviser, in the 80s. The Pentagon provided Timothy Bell’s company Bell Pottinger with $500 million to spin the Iraq War. Tony Blair made Timothy Bell a lifetime peer and Litvinenko used Bell Pottinger for his PR, post polonium tea.

Funnily enough, Timothy Bell’s brother David, runs the UK Shadow Government, Common Purpose and heads the Media Standards Committee. All Prime Ministers, since Thatcher (UK), were Common Purpose Members and I wonder how many in UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office are Common Purpose Members, including the Integrity Initiative Branch?

Styx

Good question.

All of them, most likely ..

Cromwell

Thats a common thread with all these dead Russians in Britain,Berezovsky and its said Skripal wanted to return to Russia.

Cromwell

I have never bought that Skripal bollocks from day one, where the hell are they?are they even alive? we don’t know because nobody has seen the since they were in Hospital in Salisbury,i smell a huge false flag.

AM Hants

I am just reading ‘John Helmer Skripals in Prison’, which is interesting. UK said they had sent them to New Zealand and NZ said they were not there. Feel sorry for the daughter. Dad knew the terms when he decided to work as a double agent.

Dawn

Yes, yes.. Your grandma told you that story, didnt she? :) You better look under the bed before you go to sleep – might be Russians hiding there :))

Icarus Tanović

Did that toilet paper ended up in hands of so called KSA, or better know today as Wahhabistan…

AM Hants

You do realise there was no Russia in 1968? It was overthrown by the Bolsheviks, back in 1917. Now, was the Ukrainian Krushchev, leading the Soviet Union. Back in 1968? Remember, the Soviet Union fell in 1991 and 15 independent nations emerged.

John

Do you thing I was born yesterday?

Dawn

No.. The day before yesterday :) Otherwise you would know it was Warsaw pact armies – not Russian army.. But judging by that simplistic view of yours – it was to be expected Janko :)

AM Hants

Well, it was you that mentioned the Russians, back in 1968, not me.

Icarus Tanović

He things…

occupybacon

Haha you must be new here. It’s an online asylum for Stalin nostalgists.

Alberto Campos

No, you were born a long time ago. But started thinking tomorrow.

FlorianGeyer

Yes, we do realise that, John. :)

IggyBundy

yes, happy 1st bday…

RD-180

Yuri Andropov was the man, in Prague at that time, who was making the key decisions. Andropov was Russian.

AM Hants

Did he replace the Ukrainian Bolshevik, who was desperate to replace the Georgian Bolshevik? Andropov was the leader of the Bolshevik Communist Party, was he not? So loyal to the Bolshevik ideology and not the interests of Russia? Rather like the EU, demanding you drop patriotism for your nation of birth and show loyalty and devotion to the EU. The same Bolshevik Communist Party that overthrew the Russia Empire in 1917, did they not?

RD-180

Yuri Andropov was the head of KGB at the time of the Prague uprising.

AM Hants

Remind me, but, weren’t the KGB the Soviet intelligence, and not the intelligence branch of the Russian Federation or Russian Empire?

Wasn’t Andropov the 6th leader of the Bolshevik Soviet Union, between 1983 – 1984?

Wasn’t Andropov the Head of the KGB, under the Bolshevik leader Krushchev?

Wasn’t Andropov, USSR Ambassador to Hungary 1954 – 1957?

Wasn’t Andropov, from 1957 – 1967 in charge of the Department for Liason with Communist and Worker’s Parties, in Socialist nations? A full member of the CPSU Central Committee in 1962 and promoted to Secretariat of the Communist Party Soviet Union Central Committee?

In 1967, was he not relieved of his position at the CPSU and made Head of the Bolshevik Communist KGB? English version, known as the Committee State Security, the main security agency for the Soviet Union, not the Russian Empire and not the Russian Federation.

Wasn’t he heavily connected with regards the Soviet, not Russian, battles with Finland?

Didn’t he convince Krushchev that the best way of dealing with Hungary, was with the military? What was the Hungary uprising all about and who was the biggest cheerleader? Why was he called the ‘Butcher of Budapest’? Why was he so haunted when Hungary fought back and refused to become a ‘Communist One Party State’?

(1917 – 1924) -Lenin, grandson of Israel Blank, leader of the Bolsheviks. Born in Simbirsk, part of the Ulyanovsk Oblast, on the Volga River.

(1924 – 1953) – Stalin, born in Georgia.

(March 1953 – September 1953) Malenkov – born Orenburg Oblast, on the Ural River, close to the border of Kazakhstan.

(1953 – 1964) – Nikita Khrushchev, born in Ukraine.

(1964 – 1982) – Brezhnev, born Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, now Ukraine.

(1982 – 1984) – Andropov, born in Stavrolpol Krai. (‘…The Stavropol Governorate was a governorate (province) of the Russian Empire. It roughly corresponded to most of present-day Stavropol Krai. It was created in 1847 out of the territories of Caucasian peoples and disbanded in Russian SFSR in 1924.As of 1897, 873,301 people populated the oblast. Russians constituted the majority of the population. Significant minorities consisted of Ukrainians…’

(1984 – 1985) – Chernenko, born in Yeniseysk Governorateof the Russian Empire and later of the Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic. The Governorate was established on January 26, 1822 when the territory of Siberia was divided into two governorates general: West Siberian and East Siberian. Yeniseysk Governorate, with the administrative center of Krasnoyarsk, became a part of East Siberian Governorate General. As of its foundation, the governorate included five okrugs: Achinsky, Kansky, Krasnoyarsk, Minusinsky, and Yeniseysk (with Turukhansky Krai).

(1985 – 1991) – Gorbechev. Like Andropov, he was born in the Stavrolpol Governance.

I wonder how many Soviet Leaders had dual citizenship, after the death of Stalin? Interesting that so many were connected to Ukraine.

RD-180

Very enlightening answer. Regarding Andropov, a Greek of russian descend told me that Andropov had greek routes.

RD-180

Interesting how Andropov was a key player during both the uprisings in Hungary and Checkoslovakia. Maybe these are not coincidences. Maybe Andropov was trying to subvert the “Soviet Union” (Russians), by inciting brutal repressions of reformers.

AM Hants

I have got no interest in Bolsheviks, Communists or the Soviet Union. Wasn’t he weeping heavily, when he saw the Hungarian Uprising were destroying his dreams of a ‘one party, Communist nation’? That was during the beginning of his career and didn’t he go far. Interesting how both Andropov and Gorbechev came from the same town and no doubt, would have known each other, owing to their interests.

cechas vodobenikov

are you intentionally stupid or is this natural

Alberto Campos

First: that Army didn’t “come to us in 1968”, it was already there, together with other “armies”, since 1954. I don’t know if you’re simply an uneducated moron, or an idiot that thinks that everybody is as idiot as you. Second: the US Army will stay much longer, for your pleasure, you poor beggar. Third: “We didn’t want them”? Who is “we”? Do you speak for whom? For your information, the majority of “you” DID want them at that time by fear of the “Germans”. Some bastards and a lot of stupid brainwashed that came to life after that sold themselves to the first buyer and pretend to talk on behalf of everyone. Pfh…

John

You must be old communist from soviet union

Rhodium 10

Czech republic and Slovakia during Soviet times was a powerful country…they had a huge aviation industry ( LET, Walter, Yak 11,Aerovodochody)…Car industry: Skoda, Truck: Tatra, Motorbike: CZ, Jawa ( won many motocross GP during 70s), weapons( Gun, Rifle, machine Gun), Tanks..etc.. Nowdays that Industries are Nothing!..as almost all of them are under hands of foreign companies which leads to low production and less investment!

Jim Bim

The real cause of Czech russophobia is western brainwash and Czech stupidity.

Tommy Jensen

The Czechs were in danger by the Nazis and asked UK and France for help, but was betrayed. Then they turned to Sovjet, better try a new ism than fascism, but was betrayed by them too……..LOL. Morale, you cant trust no one but yourself. But in the geo game you need the least evil friends and a country need to balance to not get smashed.

Cromwell

well it looks like the Russians fear was real, now you are a Nato Bitch close to Russia’s border, why didn’t you just become neutral and non aligned?same with Poland, you are now part of the US Empire.

Dawn

Not many people have fallen for that primitive propaganda play of the BIS in the Czech republic.. But the point was to damage Czech – Russian relations and that (to some decree) have happened..

Zionism = EVIL

The Czech are historical whores and cunts and no further eloquent elaboration of their wipearse history of pimping arsekissing ingrate fuckwits is deemed necessary at this stage, thanks.

Dawn

im sure same thing is some people saying about ur nation – whatever that might be..

Swift Laggard II

an article whining about poor russi. [Many believe that Russia is the last bastion of the Western civilization.]…what is this even supposed to mean?

Tommy Jensen

It means people run to think Russia is the good guy and all West bad, but reality is maybe something in between. Cirtical voices have also been heard about the same dependency of rich Oligarchs in Russia as in West.

RD-180

Unfortunately the West is only accusing Putin, Putin and Putin. The West is not interested in understanding or fighting corruption in Russia. How they pampered Yeltsin proves that.

Tommy Jensen

Correct. Its because Putin is the most powerful one constantly improving the system that they want to rotten.

cechas vodobenikov

this is because the Putin administration has reduced the monetary wealth and influence of the Yeltsin/USA created oligarchs by half

RD-180

I guess the phrase “judeochristianic civilization” would be more to the point. Note: There is no such thing as judeochristianic civilization. There is just a judeohellenic religion called Christianity.

Tommy Jensen

Now we have Russian agent polonium, Skripal poisening, Russian opera acid, Moscow Theatre poison attack, and now a poison attack in Czech by the white Russian Embassador on black employees lives at the Embassy. If people are not able to see a clear pattern that matters here, they need help.

RD-180

The articles, by SouthFront, about corruption in the elites of Russia, are always unique and enlightening. We want more!

cechas vodobenikov

more oversimplified dissimulation—-the wealth and influence of oligarchs in Russia has been halved by the Putin administration during the past 15 years; otherwise CIA psyops have been so thoroughly exposed as to tiresome….Litivenko’s own family is well aware he was murdered by the CIA; the Skripal debacle has been exposed as a CIA/MI6 operation. The CIA while active, is stupid…..more interesting is that the Clinton crime family has assassinated many in the USA, V Foster, D Cassolaro, Seth Rich, etc yet their media hides their corruption
