The liberation of Dhubab comes just 48 hours after the Houthis and Republican Guard forces seized Jabal Shabakah.
On Monday, after a violent battle against the Saudi-led coalition and Hadi loyalists in the evening, the Yemeni Army, Houthis and popular committees enforced full control of Dhubab City in the Dhubab Directorate in the Ta’iz Governorate of western Yemen.
It is reported that the liberation of Dhubab comes just 48 hours after the Houthis and Republican Guard forces seized Jabal Shabakah in the Dhubab Directorate from Saudi loyalist forces.
However, Yesterday, Yemen’s Republican Guard’s military advisors who completed their tour of the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait confirmed that the Saudi-led forces seen absent near Taiz city.
Yemen has been under military attacks by Saudi Arabia since March 26, 2015 with the declared aim of suppress the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restoring power to the fugitive former Yemeni president, and a Riyadh ally, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi,
It is reported that nearly 8,300 people including 2,230 children have reportedly been killed and over 16,000 others injured since the Saudi aggression.
