Yemeni forces have allegedly shot down an F15 warplane belonging to the Saudi-led coalition. The warplane was taking part in the Saudi-led bombing campaign in Yemen.
The warplane was reportedly downed in in Najran by Yemeni fighters deployed in near Saada on Saturday.
The released video does not allow to say for sure that the warplane was donwed.
The Saudi military has not commented on the issue.
F-15’s are tough.. they can fly on one engine and even loose most of a wing. As for making it back to base, well I doubt it landed in any part of Yemen.
If this loss is confirmed, it would represent the the first shoot down of the f15 in the planes history. (Syria claims to have shot down eagles before).

I remember when that happened. That was when CNN showed footage of strikes on iraqi positions with paveway 2’s. Back when it wasnt ‘classified’ to show us military forces attacking iraqi military. Amazing how backwardvthings are now.
Maybe if piloted by some well trained crew, but with a pair of Saudi clowns at the helm, anything is possible.
