On Thursday, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, said that the Saudi Armed Forces used cluster bombs in residential areas of Yemen, violating international law in this way. He also blamed the Riyadh regime for the most part of the civilian casualties in the neighboring southern region.
Yemen and Saudi Arabia are involved in an armed conflict since March of the last year. Saudi Arabia seeks to restore the power of Yemeni former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Riyadh, and undermine Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement. About 10,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed during the Saudi military aggression.

There’ve been several videos showing Yemenis capturing Saudi bases inside Saudi Arabia, as well as Saudi soldiers running away and getting killed or driving away and getting into accidents with each other before being blown up by the Yemenis.
