On June 30, the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) released a statement claiming that 6 members of the Turkish-led forces deployed in the northern Syrian area of Afrin had been killed by YPG fighters on June 24 and June 25.
According to the statement, the YPG attacks took place on the road between Dwea and Tal Salour as well as in the vilalge of Amara.
The group als released a video confirming at least a part of its claims.

The Turkish Army and its proxies established full control of Afrin on March 24, 2018. However, Turkish-backed security operations there are still ongoing because YPG cells still opearate in the area.
