SLF fighters before the attack on HTS
On December 28, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) [the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria] accused the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement of killing four of its fighters in the opposition-held part of the western Aleppo countryside.
“Five Mujahedeen were martyred in the village of Taladah in western Aleppo on the hands of a group, which sneaked from the Darat Izza mount that’s controlled by the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement,” Iba’a, a news networked linked to HTS, said in a short press release.
The Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement has not commented on HTS’ accusations yet. However, the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) coalition, which includes al-Zenki, will likely release an official statement on the incident in the upcoming few hours.
Last October, HTS and the NFL reached a reconciliation agreement after a series of armed clashes in the western Aleppo countryside. According to Syrian opposition activists, dozens of civilians and militants were killed and injured in these clashes.
The current tension in the opposition-held part of the western Aleppo countryside will likely develop to another military confrontation between HTS and the NFL very soon. Both groups take advantage of such incidents to try to expand their influence in northwestern Syria.

The Wahabis (salafis) have been branded heritics and out of the folds of Sunni Islam for over 150 years by Sunni scholars.
Which is why the Perfidious British raised them from a justly-persecuted bunch of criminals and funded them to bring down the Turkish empire. I am happy the Turks fell but now the World is paying for the stupid Brits enabling these dogs one hundred years ago!

Back in around July/August these guys ruined the alliance agreement Erdogan had carefully brokered between HTS and the FSA by killing 4 HTS members, 4 must be a lucky number for Nour al-Din al-Zenki members.
