The Wagner PMC is not the only one operating on the Ukrainian front lines. Inspired by Prigozhin’s example, some representatives of the Russian elite created their own private armies. Their units are already deployed in the Donbass, including in the Bakhmut region, ordered to secure flanks of Wagner fighters who are advancing in the city. However, the effectiveness of the new Russian PMCs turned out to be low.
Prigozhin gave an interview revealing the truth about his ‘colleagues’, their true goals and incompetence, which does not help but put obstacles for Wagner fighters:
Prigozhin Evgeny Viktorovich: Today we went to deal with the newly created PMCs (Private Military Companies). The whole country has decided that they are able to save their homeland as the Wagner PMC does. As a result, instead of giving us the opportunity to recruit people, command them and fight, they create different, obscure companies. Therefore, we figured out why they are needed, what is happening to them today and how to deal with them. There are many PMCs but the problems are still the same, nothing is changing at the front.
Prigozhin to fighters of other Russian PMCs: So, guys, the main question is, why did you leave your positions?
Soldier: We had no communication, no ammunition.

In order for this process to start working, it must be under control from the very beginning to its end. To do this, you need to put on a bulletproof vest, go to the front line and figure out who is wounded and who is not.
Today according to my rough estimation, there are about 6,000 people in the PMC Wagner who can take combat command. In the country, there are at best 6,500 and 6,000 more people in PMC Wagner. Is it better to let people join Wagner or to try to pull your dick to the nose in order to become another commander of something somewhere?
These 6,000 fighters will never go to the army at no point. If I tell them today: that is all, guys, the work is over, then they would better go and guard a garage than join the army. Therefore, these 6,000 people are the last reserve of this country to win the war.
I have repeatedly offered our leadership at various levels to give me 200 thousand people, give me mobilized servicemen, give me convicts, give me anyone. 100 thousand to the North, 100 thousand to the South. I will straighten the front line, push the enemy 100 km away from Donetsk, and in the North I will reach the front lines which were lost six months ago and by the way, I’ll close the Donbass ring, so that we are not ashamed and so that we could explain why this special military operation was launched. For me, the statements of Prigozhin sound honest. With those an the table, many statements from the ukrainian side, waved aside as enemy propaganda, stop looking as propaganda at all.
As it looks from a neutral viewpoint, the ukrainian leadership correctly recognized this war as a fight against a patchwork of militias, which are controlled by a patchwork of incompetent russian wannabe commanders who all but NOT deserve to be called with that designation.
The most important question for me results in: “Is this revelation a preparation for the expectation to put in place for the expected ukrainian counteroffensive?” Even IF the ukrainian soldiers were not better equipped and managed than the russian ones, they are outnumbering the latter – still, more than one year into the war.

Would you prefer her to razer Ukraine, taking out what is left of the Ukraine gene pool and completely destroy the territory, like a NATO Carpet Bombing invasion? Russia is not at war, they are allowing the Ukrainian Government to function, as their goal is not the destruction of Ukraine.
