Hezbollah’s Military Media has released four videos showing some of the group’s recent attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
One of the video shows an attack with multiple suicide drones that targeted a newly-established headquarters of the IDF in the area of Nahal Gershom, more than six kilometers away from the border with Lebanon, on June 3. The video included photos showing damage to the headquarters after the attack.
Another video shows an attack with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) on the factory of Plasan, an Israeli company that produces armored vehicles, in the settlement of Sasa, just four kilometers to the south of the Lebanese border. The attack took place on June 12. One of the factory’s buildings was struck by three missiles during the attack.
The two remaining videos show an ATGM strike on an IDF Humvee vehicle near the settlement of Yiftah, in which two Israeli soldiers were wounded, and an attack with heavy machine guns and mortars on the al-Rahib site along the Lebanese border from June 13.
Hezbollah and its allies began launching near-daily attacks from Lebanon against the IDF in support of the Hamas Movement and other Palestinian armed factions in the Gaza Strip after the outbreak of the Israeli war on the enclave last October.
In recent weeks, the group escalated its attacks on the IDF. On June 13 alone, the group announced 13 attacks. In one of these attacks, more than a hundred rocket and over two dozen suicide drones targeted nine Israeli bases.
So far, the clashes on the Israeli-Lebanese border have resulted in ten civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of at least 15 IDF soldiers and reservists. On the Lebanese side, more than 400 people have been killed, including 324 fighters of Hezbollah and at least 80 civilians.
