The video above was recently shared by Ukrainian sources. It was accompanied by a message of a widow of another Ukrainian servicemen who had previously died in battle.
According to the message, the video was shared by servicemen of the AFU deployed in the Kherson region. The footage shows a barrier squad which included Ukrainians and foreign mercenaries shot a unit whose personnel refused to cross the Dnieper River on boats and land on the Russian left bank.
On the video, Ukrainian servicemen are heard screaming that there was ‘friendly fire’.
The woman wrote that those Ukrainian servicemen who survived will try to escape from the Kherson region in order not to be killed by ‘mercenaries who flooded the country at the request of Ukrainian politicians’.
Earlier, the Russian Acting Governor of the Kherson region claimed that on August 10, a neo-Nazi squad shot an entire unit of Ukrainian soldiers who refused to cross the Dnieper to the Russian coast. His claims were confirmed by the video above and claims of the Ukrainian widow.
Ukrainian barrier squads are actively operating on all Ukrainian frontlines. They mainly include members of various Ukrainian Nazi battalions and foreign mercenaries, who feel no pity to their ‘brothers in arms’. The operations of such squads were already spotted by Russian UAVs. LINK
