Clashes erupted between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and ISIS inside the city of Deir Ezzor as the SAA is pushing towards the ISSI-held city of Mayadin southeast of the city.
The fighting was reported at al-Hamidiyah and Hawiqa as well as in other points at the frontline between the sides inside the city.
ISIS terrorists inside Deir Ezzor attacked the SAA in Deir Ezzor in order to slow down the government advance on Mayadin. This attack also contributes to the ISIS efforts along the Palmyra-Deir Ezzor highway.
However, the ISIS has not been able to achieve any gains against the SAA.
Saker Island needs to be taken to cut off the supply line to the ISIS held part of DE city….
On Fars News Agency:
“Sheikh Mohammad Amlah al-Daham, the leader of al-Akidat tribe, as saying that the US and Kurdish forces entered talks with the ISIL to let them capture the town of al-Basireh following the Syrian Army troops’ advances towards the town of al-Mayadeen in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
He told al-Watan that the Kurdish forces demanded the ISIL to retreat from al-Basireh region and join the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Hasaka province. Al-Daham further told the paper that a large number of ISIL terrorists deployed in al-Basireh accepted the Kurd’s offer and joined the SDF, but, a number of them refused and stayed in the region to continue battle, pushing the initial agreement into failure. Reports said earlier this month that almost 500 ISIL joined the Kurdish forces in the town of al-Shaddadi in Southern Hasaka. Al-Daham said (…) that almost 500 ISIL gunmen that had fled the battlefields joined the SDF in the town of al-Shaddadi in Southern Hasaka amid the Syrian Army troops’ rapid advances in Deir Ezzur. Al-Daham said that the SDF in cooperation with Washington were to take control over Syria’s oil and other resources, adding, “We, Syrian tribe-men, do not believe in the SDF and the US as they just want to hoist SDF’s flag in the country.””
The only solution is to find alternatives to oil.
Maybe some negroes will invent something to rescue the mankind?
Sun energy perhaps.
Rendering down Fat White People for oil :)
Music
Important point – and it isn’t just wind and solar. Since oil became a valuable commodity in the beginning of the 20th century the oil companies have combed the earth for all the possible energy inventions. And they do that in order to bury those inventions after they have bought off the inventors (with a mixture of carrots and sticks). I’d wager there are hundreds, if not thousands brilliant patents lying buried in the vaults of the big oil corporations. They, or the US government, do not tolerate any competition, particularly free energy applications, especially since Bretton-Woods when the $US became the global currency underpinned by oil. This practice of burying inventions should be declared a crime against humanity, and individuals AND corporations should pay for those crimes.
Big oil is a criminal Industry…
The US government and other governments bury them not big Oil since too much depends on resources controlling everything even Govt.
yes – but who should declare that? and who will enforce it?
That is the question we need to ask and discuss.
If that means battery power, the quest of the West to control Lithium etc will only increase and more wars will be fought over that . In fact they are already doing so in Afghanistan.
Every type of power other than oil.
Whatever the power of the future is, we can be assured of one thing. Our governments will tax it :)
Yes.
But for Syria to achieve that it first needs the oil and gas to have enough funds to reconstruct the country and its economy ravaged by foreign US/Zionist aggression. When the economy is firmly on its feet, Syria can start turning to alternative sources of energy.
the US is gonna need to be doing that soon, not syria :)))
Everyone needs.
You keep leaving out the US in this since they have been the ones actually making the demands and not the weak girlies SDF.
SAA should cross over the river and cut the SDF advances
Hummm, I said that 4 weeks ago. Syria’s generals lack of good war tactic a lot. Russia’s general need to tell them how to do things.
In this war, Syrian generals are Russian generals. Any failure is ALL failure.
They forget much as Issam Zahreddine and his SRG are decommissioned , Issam played a significant role in the planning.
why they are decommissioned??
Well it’s obvious , take a look how long they spent at Deir Ezzor , they deserve a rest until they need them commission them again this is normal in war. They will want to get back in the fight eventually only right now they need time off ,it’s hard to go so long in battle with no time off.
Oh true, I thought u meant they were like put out of service for good or something
For some reason, we don’t have a Russian air base at Deir Ezzor. That was supposed to be in the cards.
Need to clear the east bank of the city , so that the airport cannot be hit by ISIS . Surprised that has not happened following the river’s crossing .
