Erdogan's Advisor: Israel Provoked IL-20 Incident To Sabotage Idlib Agreement

File image

On September 19, Yasin Aktay, a senior advisor of Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that Israel provoked the Il-20 incident in order to sabotage the “positive atmosphere” that resulted of the Russian-Turkish agreement on the Syrian governorate of Idlib. According to the senior Turkish official, Israel is now working to keep the war in Syria ongoing.

“Weakening and destabilizing Syria are among the priorities of Israel, regardless if Assad was the ruler of the country or anyone else, it’s clear that that it wants the war in Syria and the killing of the Syrian people to continue in order to drain the strength and power of Syria so no strong state remain near it,” Aktay said during an interview with the Russian news outlet Sputnik.

The Israeli airstrike that caused a chain of events leading to the shoot down of the Russian Il-20 military plane occurred only few hours after the announcement of the Russian-Turkish agreement. Besides Aktay, many local observers stated the Israeli provocation as a response to the peace efforts in northwestern Syria.

The Israeli military held the Damascus government, Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah responsible for the incident, while Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel will continue its operation against Iranian forces in the war-torn country.

Israel’s attempt to blame on the Damascus government and its allies for the incident is a clear example of how the airstrike was also a political message against stability and peace in Syria.

Turks are right about that but lets not forget Turkey also took huge part in destabilizing and weakening Syria. They funded “rebels” for years. The fall of Idlib happened partially because of Turkey.

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

Turkey was also receiving 1500 oil tankers a day till Russia came into the war. Turkey were doing USA bidding right up until the failed coup. Now it seems Turkey is doing what is right for Turkey

Poor Turk

The failed coup was a show. 0 Americans killed by Turkey. 2 Russia planes, 2 pilots and 1 diplomat killed by Turks. Gulen is like the devil in these religions, used as an excuse for mischief

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

US airforce had locked on to erdogans plane, Russian military gave every aircraft, civilian and military two minutes to clear the skies or they would be targetted as hostile. Russia saved Erdogans life. false flag coup narrative is just CIA trying to save face. Not because they tried, but because they failed

putinbeater

evidence or you are liar!

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

try google. hope that helps

putinbeater

google is not evidence

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

and you will say every link i bring up is not credible. So why are you wasting mine and your time? Perhaps its time you had a wash or something

putinbeater

the evience is only official statesment of rossion/americanturkish government

do you have it?

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

am not a member of those governments…….

Gary Sellars

what a cumb dunt…

FlorianGeyer

The US State Dept , Military, Media and Political Prostitutes are always quoting Google and Social Media as ‘evidence’ to justify their war crimes in Syria.

Empire's Frontiers

Right after they publish the very artifact they turn around to cite.

FlorianGeyer

We all realise that you are a liar and a shill.

Gary Sellars

Oh just STFU troll eejit… no-one cares about that you say or think. Your handle is a clear indicator of your small-minded biased nature…

Brother Ma

Exciting but proof? References? I have never heard of this?

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

google

John Whitehot

“2 Russia planes”

actually one, but if some tabloid says otherwise who are we to not agree.

“0 Americans killed by Turkey”

they killed scores of US and EU “volunteers” fighting kurds in Afrin.

Poor Turk

0 US soldiers killed.

John Whitehot

look, even if turkey kills US soldiers (or the other way around), nobody is going to tell.

FlorianGeyer

Yes indeed and have recently arrested the moronic ex British soldier who thought ( or didn’t think at all) that :)it was sensible to take a holiday in Turkey two years after he had been fighting for the Kurds. :)

John Whitehot

didn’t know about this one.

and they still take offence when someone calls them fools.

FlorianGeyer

There was a UK TV interview with him in a Turkish hotel room. He has had his passport seized and is awaiting trial that in Turkey can take a long time.

Tommy Jensen

Americans never gets killed…………………..LOL.

Gregory Casey

The only reason Erdogan managed to save himself and his Government, and their despicable money-laundering for Terrorists in Syria, their ensuring that Terrorists could cross into Syria, freely, across their Borders, their arms-peddling and smuggling of Arms into Syria for their NATO Partners US & UK, from Libya and elsewhere, is because Erdogan received a phone-call from Putin half an hour before coup kicked off while Erdogan was rallying in southern coastal Turkey and thereby ensuring Erdogan could get himself to safety and survive the coup.

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

Until Russia entered the war, there was no other country that could have stood up to USA pigdogs foreign policy

John Whitehot

wait until the CSTO starts operating as a full fledged alliance.

Poor Turk

And then Russia and Turkey became best friends, overnight.

Manuel Flores Escobar

Turkish military warned Russia about the coup to avoid that Russian military think that a military operation was underway vs Syria( as many fighter jets and helicopter were flying in many parts)…then Putin warned Erdogan!

FlorianGeyer

Not best friends but strategic allies with differing opinions.

Brother Ma

Parfait!

FlorianGeyer

That’s correct BUT had Erdogan been deposed the US would have installed yet another servile lackey as president in Turkey and NATO would have been able to get into the war a lot earlier.

al quaida

“1500 oil tankers a day”?

Red Pilled ThoughtCrimes

oil tanker trucks, and yeah

Poor Turk

They are still funding rebels, without hiding it and moving through territories controlled by terrorist. This statement is just faking enmity.

Gregory Casey

A “huge”part? I’d describe it as ENORMOUS ……. including Erdogan’s Family and that of his (then) Prime Minister, sons and nephews of whom (both Erdogan & sidekick) engaged in trading stolen Syrian Oil for ISIS and taking their enormous ‘cut’ of the profits while sending the refined Oil to Israel for consumption by Israelis …….. oil stained and tainted with the blood of innocent Syrians

FlorianGeyer

Plus the literally thousands of factories and civil infrastructure items that were looted for machine tools etc and sent to Turkey.

FlorianGeyer

” They (Turkey) funded “rebels” for years “.

And Turkey is still funding ‘rebels’ (terrorists) in Syria today.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

100% true and correct

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

hey man where u been?

gtfonormietbhfam

ladata why

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

Mister trudeau sir where are you? Miss u :(

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

where are u general judeau? SAA has started idlib campaign!

Smaug

Positive atmosphere? I think he’s to preoccupied with the popularity of his boss at a given moment. And how exactly could the IAF plan this when it involves the other guy’s friendly fire?

Dick Von Dast'Ard

I’d suggest the IAF would have been quite capable of creating the chain of events that led to the baiting of the Coot. They positioned the raid for it.

Geoff Griffiths

Supply Syria with S400s.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

Or rather have the Russian military in full command and control of the air defense around the Latakia and Tartus coastal area.

Gregory Casey

Both. Let Russia in charge of entire of the skies over Syria while also supplying S-300 and S-400 systems to Syria.

FlorianGeyer

Good idea and train Syrians ‘on the job ‘ at the same time.

Brother Ma

Russia should have done this from day one as they promised many times.

John Whitehot

supply me with pussy.

FlorianGeyer

May I respectfully recommend a certain Budget Hotel in London that is frequented by Russians ‘having fun in London’ John :)

Do remember to pack your personal protection items though John.

A full NBC suit would do.

Tommy Jensen

its gonna cost you. do you have $?

John Whitehot

no dice. i never pay directly. indirectly, that’s another story lmao.

leon mc pilibin

Russia must arm Syria to be able to defend itself from Nutandyahoo and his mad buddies in Hell Aviv.A few lost planes will put the fear of God into those satanic ,Talmudic scumbags.

Gregory Casey

There are unconfirmed reports just now that Russia has CLOSED the Eastern Mediterranean: In the Air and On the Water!! I think they are saying : Do NOT FUxK with us

Promitheas Apollonious

no is true they lock down, eastern Mediterranean.

Promitheas Apollonious

P.S. and this is the reason for the russian move, as well the reason for destroying the plane.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-navy-ships-idUSKCN0YZ285

Second U.S. aircraft carrier enters Mediterranean

John Whitehot

except it’s a rotation, not a reinforce.

Promitheas Apollonious

a rotation that puts two aircraft carriers in a very hot zone. Do you follow what is happening to between turkey, cyprus and greece? Connect the dots.

John Whitehot

dots are connected with straight lines.

when you start drawing all kinds of curves over them you betta change hobby.

Promitheas Apollonious

so you think the war is only for a pipe line passing from syria then. Or maybe you not qualified to think more than few seconds? American and french companies are ready to blow of the gas game in europe, utilizing the gas deposits of cyprus and greece. Turkey is trying to involve her self in this by force and I hope they try and americans to stop russian gas flowing into europe.

John Whitehot

wtf are you talking about, only god can tell.

changing toppic from carriers to pipelines in 1 comment borders insalubrous commentary.

Promitheas Apollonious

sorry forget single cells only can connect dots in a straight line.

take a walk and try to think next time and connect the dots the way intelligent informed people do and we do fine.

John Whitehot

but wait, if my football team yesterday has won, it could be that there’s gonna be an hurricane in north carolina tomorrow

i know what you are doing, and you will fail :D

mhtsaropinigitakis

indeed,,,but the strange thing is why dont the neocores just bypass syria and go through jordan israel cyprus greece?? i think there is more than meets the eye and that pipeline is just an excuse,,,they really want to topple assad and edogan

Promitheas Apollonious

you did not get what pipe line we speak about. The one that comes from Iran into Mediterranean via iraq-syria. Not the ones the globalist want to build.

mhtsaropinigitakis

that one has no future through Cyprus and Greece…only neocon ones

Promitheas Apollonious

having a future or not is not something any one can predict, unless there is a winner in this war in ME and right now, none of the participants can claim that.

mhtsaropinigitakis

you fail to realize the Greece is enslaved along with cyprus by one side no matter the outcome in syria

Ivan Freely

Of course it’s more than about a pipeline. We’re also dealing with geopolitical goals for various nations.

Empire's Frontiers

The video here is an interesting juxtaposition.

Media produced, so I imagine the foul feeling we’re left with is exactly the intention of the publisher. Can’t trust ’em, any of ’em.

Nonetheless, the difference in language, and substance of statements is clear between the two.

https://www.rt.com/news/438413-iran-oil-sanctions-us-minister/

Empire's Frontiers

Reading your post, I went looking for more on recent carrier deployments and stratfor, whatever it’s worth, seems to detail them.

Perhaps you’ll be interested to see what they have.

https://worldview.stratfor.com/article/us-naval-update-map-sept-13-2018

Promitheas Apollonious

according to what you give me, there are no carriers in Mediterranean. So whose line the reports that they are two carrier groups in the area or the web site that says are not? Unless I did not read it correctly …….

Empire's Frontiers

I think the article you shared is from June 2016.

Going back to then on stratfor it shows the carriers right where the Reuters article describes.

Promitheas Apollonious

strange it come on my notifications when I posted it. Did not bother to check the date.

Sinbad2

Old disqus notifications have been turning up, something amiss somewhere.

Promitheas Apollonious

because it come with this notification https://www.pentapostagma.gr/

Promitheas Apollonious

and this https://www.pentapostagma.gr/2018/09/%cf%83%cf%85%ce%bd%cf%89%cf%83%cf%84%ce%b9%cf%83%ce%bc%cf%8c%cf%82-%ce%b1%ce%bc%ce%b5%cf%81%ce%b9%ce%ba%ce%b1%ce%bd%ce%b9%ce%ba%cf%8e%ce%bd-%ce%b4%cf%85%ce%bd%ce%ac%ce%bc%ce%b5%cf%89%ce%bd-%cf%83.html

Empire's Frontiers

Reading that article I see they describe the Truman making the trip, as Florian points out, across the Atlantic toward the Mediterranean.

And the two ships described early are called ‘high speed vessels’

In English, these are the two ships described to be soon joined by the Truman:

‘Coming from Alexandria, Egypt, the impressive catamaran of USNS Carson City sailed to Marathi base, while from Piraeus came the USNS Trenton, which had been “tied up” to Marathi last August.’

But I expect you’ve been back over it and see this already.

Sinbad2

That’s better, no carriers in the Med this time.

FlorianGeyer

A US Carrier was reported yesterday to have crossed the atlantic en-route to the Med. The USS Truman I think.

Tommy Jensen

It doesnt matter when its dated. It means we have a deadly dangerous situation in ME that could lead to WWIII before time. Dont fock with America………..this is the signal from US notwithstanding any date.

Empire's Frontiers

I get more of a lispy nasally, ‘guyyyyzzzz, stoppit!’ sense out of them.

Sinbad2

There are no US carriers in the Med, your Reuters story is 2 years old.

Promitheas Apollonious

yes I know the message come with the rest, in my notifications box and did not check the date my bad.

Graeme Rymill

There are no US carriers in the Med. Your Reuters news article is dated June 2016.

John Wallace

What has happened to the story on the French missile attack or did they confuse the Israeli attack as coming from the French ship. If so that could have been embarrassing if they had taken the French ship out . Although I agree Macron needed something else too talk about the others wouldn’t need too wait for their stooges too carry out a gas attack.

Sinbad2

At the time a lot of posters here were suggesting that Russia should sink the French ship. I am glad the Russians have more sense than the lynch mob mentality that seems to prevail in many western minds.

John Wallace

Yes agree.. That story has completely fallen of the edge of the world. War needs too be played like chess with careful thought not an immediate reaction too perceptions without consideration of the ramifications of the actions. Yes a bit like , as you say , a number of posters.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

syria should have taken it out

alejoeisabel

The war in Syria is bleeding the Turkish economy. Israel’s wars of aggression are of no concern to Israel because the United States taxpayers pay for Israel’s wars. The US give free military equipment including the $235,000,000 F-35 that was shot down by Soviet era anti aircraft missiles. The US has invaded Iraq on Israel’s behalf. It is now doing the same the US to get it to invade Iran. Nice.

Brother Ma

Dumb f’ing Turds! America wont pay for Turkey’s wars. Hah! Look what happened to Georgia! They took US promises as well and got left in the hotseat.

putinbeater

in reality erdogan, trump and netanyahu are laughing on russians

Manuel Flores Escobar

and Assad is laughing on erdogan, trump and netanyahu…..

Merijn

That’s what I thought too…IsraHell was Angry because of the Agreement and was afraid they would not get their WWIII….Burn IsraHell..!

BMWA1

This must mean IPSO FACTO that the agreement is a good move.

frankly

In Canada we have this issue with letting our dogs run in the bush. There is always the possibility that a bear will chase it right back to you. Israel is that stupid little bitch. US the incompetent, wanna-be master that let it off the leash.
