Evacuations began this morning in the city of Kherson, the capital of the former Kherson region of Ukraine, which was recently annexed to Russia.
The evacuation followed immediately after yesterday’s appeal to the population by the Head of the region Saldo and an interview given by the Russian Commander, General Surovikin.
Residents of the right bank of the Dnipro River are being moved to the other side, where temporary accommodation facilities are deployed. The administration publishes recommendations for evacuees. People may take no more than 50 kg of their belongings and food with them.
Evacuees were reminded of the need to have their documents, money, and medications with them, and were urged to attach name tags to all belongings.
Authorities inform about the rules of conduct at the civilian displacement collection point.

- Having received the command to depart, quickly take a place in the transport, observing order and caution.
According to Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the Kherson Oblast administration, Ukrainian troops will start an attack on Kherson “as soon as possible. On the morning of October 19, local residents began receiving text messages urging them to evacuate. According to Vladimir Saldo, the Head of the regional administration, there are plans to move about 50-60 thousand people from the right bank of the Dnipro river within a week.
Will Russia nuke Kherson?

I expect a massive use of artillery by the Russians now. Kherson flat fields will be littered with dead nazis.
