Mohajer-6 UAV
Ukrainians fished out an Iranian Mohajer-6 UAV in the Black Sea near Odessa. This is the first evidence of their use by Russian forces in Ukraine.
Iranian Mohajer-6 was likely adjusting strikes of Russia’s Geranium-2 (Iranian Shahed-136) suicide drones in Odessa. Russians likely lost control over the UAV and it fell in the Black Sea.
Last month, US and other Western intelligence officials claimed that Iran had transferred at least 300 UAVs to Russia, including Mohajer-6.
Moscow and Teheran do not officially confirm the supply of Iranian UAVs to Russian forces. However, the Russian military have been actively using Iranian-made Shahed-136 UAVs, rebranded as Geranium-2, in the recent weeks.
Mohajer-6 has been produced since 2017. The UAV is aimed at reconnaissance, surveillance and attacks. It may carry up to 4 high-precision ammunition. Its flight range is up to 200 km at a speed of 200 km/h. The UAV may fly up to 12 hours with the maximum flight altitude of 5400 m.

I saw the various videos of Geran-2 loitering munitions “falling from the sky” in Odessa and Ukrainians hitting them with their buildings. The noise is genuine and consistent with a propeller driven by a gasoline engine. But as I wrote before, Geran-2 was in development since 2019 and is very different than Shahed-136 (AI and all that).
But. if the footage of Mohajer-6 is genuine, I’ll prepare my foot for eating (doubles as crow. So Crow’s feet if you will) since AFAIK Mohajer-6 airframe was not among the joint projects. Meaning Russia, purchased, we sold and transferred them from Iran to Russia and what I wrote was false..
Just as a little tactical explanation, for us, Mohajer-6 is one of the ways that last second corrections are performed or applied to the drones like Shahed-136. Things like GPS spoofing can happen near or over the target (although these drones use a combination of other methods beside sat positioning like visual range, near IR, IR or thermal image detection of the target), camouflage can be applied, target may move (moving a building is not an easy task though, so I’m probably talking about other things, like some wonderwaffen that shoots rockets and scoots) and if it is in this configuration, it is disposable. Notice that the body is intact and undamaged. It might be discarded or it might be lost due to EW. Anyway, a plane with some UH-60 escort flew from Romania to Odessa today after big booms were heard. Aerial radar or cargo? Maybe we find out later.
Oh, I wrote about the drone noise. I think in addition to big bada boom, it packs a nice terrifying psychological effect too, what do you think?

I recall standing on the potemkin steps in odessa looking over the beautiful coastline and enjoying a summers day chatting with friends and strangers alike that was in the good old days before the 2014 CIA coup . We in Denmark are verry good in many sports, especially in kneeling and swallowing.
Because of southern climate and absence of ice skating traditions like in rest parts of Russia. “Dynamo” (Minsk) or “Dynamo” (Moscow) is much better than any hockey team from Kiev, but football team “Dynamo” (Kiev) was one of the best in the USSR, for long time it was the basic club for national team, like CSCA (Central Sport Club of the Army) in hockey. Sport society of “Dynamo” was belonging to the ministry of internal affairs (police department). Formally all members of all army and police teams were not professional players, but officers of the army and police who plays a bit at evenings after work. Now they are pros, but plays worse than “amateurs”, who won championship of Europe and Olympic games (football) and numerous World and Olympic cups in hockey. That’s why Russia is number 1 in hockey and won more gold medals than others, even though we have started participation in international cups 30 years after Canada, which have won 1/2 of all gold medals in this period. Now i’m not interested at sports at all, it’s just show business, commercial enterprise for making money.
