One person was killed and six others were wounded on July 5 when four Israeli drone strikes hit three cars in the Bint Jbeil district and a house in the Hasbaya district in southern Lebanon, the heartland of Hezbollah.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said in a statement published by the official National News Agency (NNA_ that “the Israeli enemy’s drone strike on a car” in Bint Jbeil, “causing, according to a preliminary toll, one martyr and two wounded.”

Also in Bint Jbeil, two people were seriously injured in a strike that targeted a car in the town of Shaqra, according to another statement from the ministry.

An additional person was injured in a strike on one more car near the vocational institute in the city of Bint Jbeil, the ministry said in a third statement.

Meanwhile in Hasbaya, the ministry reported in a fourth statement that one person was injured in an Israeli drone strike on a house in the town of Shebaa.

Earlier in the day, the ministry announced that an Israeli drone strike had injured a person in the Shebaa Farms, also located in southern Lebanon. According to the NNA, the strike in question targeted a house.

In a statement released later in the day, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that its forces had carried out a targeted strike in the area of Aynata in southern Lebanon, eliminating a person affiliated with Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force.

Hezbollah accepted the ceasefire proposed by the United States following a costly confrontation with the IDF. The confrontation broke out more than a year earlier as a result of the Israeli war on the group’s ally, the Hamas Movement, in the Gaza Strip.

The ceasefire, which entered into effect on November 27, was supposed to end all clashes on the Israeli-Lebanese border by February 18. However, the IDF continued to launch strikes against Hezbollah. The military also kept troops at five strategic posts in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has so far refrained from responding in any shape or form, likely to focus on reorganizing its forces. Israel clearly views this as a chance to escalate.

if they answer with strikes then zionists would be less proud of their killer attitudes, but hezbo seems unable to think aggressively, while hamas still fight the enemy.
