A Mirage 2000N of the French Air Force crashed in Chad on Thursday.
The fighter jet missed its takeoff from Hassan Djamouss Airport and crashed into its wall.
The both pilots on board ejected from the aircraft. One pilot was slightly injured.
The aircraft was operating in the country under France’s Operation Barkhane – the ongoing anti-insurgent operation in Africa’s Sahel region.
