On July 26, German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said that Germany has delivered the promised multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Mars II type to Ukraine. Three more Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers were also handed over to Kiev.
Christina Lambrecht did not specify the exact number of MLRS delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but earlier Berlin promised to transfer three howitzers to Kiev.
On July 23, Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht claimed that the German military would train Ukrainian soldiers on the Mars II multiple launch rocket systems. The training, which will take place in Germany, could start as early this week.
The MARS is a German upgrade of the American M270 MLRS which has the same layout consisting of two pods of six launcher tubes able to fire unguided 230 mm rockets mounted on a tracked chassis with a crew cab. The upgraded MARS II/MLRS-E with the new GMLRS is able to conduct high-precision engagement of point and individual targets and is used as an artillery sniper weapon.
Earlier, the head of the German Defense Ministry stated that Germany would not be able to sponsor the AFU with weapons for a long time due to the lack of military resources in the Bundeswehr.

To be fair, the Russians are not enjoying a numerical advantage in terms of manpower in the current combat theater. The do enjoy a numerical advantage when discussing the number of heavy weapon systems (tanks, artillery, aircraft etc.). The Ukrainians have number on their side at the moment. This is dwindling every day though. That said, numbers do not win wars when your troops are unmotivated, undertrained (if trained at all) and poorly staffed by officers.

This step was to ensure that the gas is shut down by russia. They need the gas to be shut down so they can blame Putin on the economic downfall of europe which was ordered by the US who groomed and funded the career of every single european polititian for this moment.
Isn’t it time Russia sanctioned European individuals that authorise such weapons deliveries?
In order to change the outcome of this war the US would literally need to give hundreds of additional Himars launchers, along with at least 500 tanks, 1000 armored vehicles, and hundreds of aircrafts. This will not happen, because Ukraine don’t have the trained personnel to operate these weapons in these numbers, and giving away so many weaponry would seriously degrade American defense capabilities. The US will not risk that if Ukraine loses anyways. I think they’re already just giving away weapons to market them to foreign buyers with PR stunts, not to change the course of the war.
