Gunmen carried out an attack on an intelligence service center in the Afghan capital of Kabul on August 16, Afghan police officials said. Accordign to reports, gunmen engaged security forces in the Qala-e-Wazir district of Kabul at about 10:15 local time.
Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanekzai said the attackers used fired rocket-propelled grenades as well as automatic rifles. After a few hours of clashes, at least two gunmen were killed.
There have been no immidiate reports about casualties among sercurity personnel. Furthermore, no group has claimed responsibility for it so far.
