Fighting is ongoing between the Israeli military anf Palestinian forces, while the numbers of casualties is growing.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 560 people were killed and 2,900 injured in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Ministry of Health states that more than 800 Israeli citizens were killed and almost 2,400 were injured.
The number of casualties id growing rapidly, especially in the Gaza Strip, where the aircraft of the Israeli Air Force continue massive strikes on both military and civilian targets.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant ordered to increase the intensity of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. According to Israeli media reserve pilots were called on duty.
Hamas has threatened to start executing hostages from Israel if the Israeli army does not stop attacks on the Gaza Strip. The group said it would execute one hostage in response to each strike on a civilian building.
Earlier, Hamas claimed that four Israeli prisoners and two Palestinians who captured them were killed as a result of the massive bombing of the Gaza Strip.
Clashes are still reported on the Israeli territory in Sderot, near Nahel Oz, Mefalsim, Kfar Aza, Magen and Kisufim.
The IDF claimed that they had completed the evacuation of civilians from the areas near the border with the Gaza Strip. Israeli media claim that the ground offensive into Gaza will start tonight.
At the same time, the situation remains tense on the Israeli-Lebanese border. Over the past day, more than 10 shells were fired at the north of Israel. None of the groups, including Hezbollah, claimed responsibility. In response, Israeli forces launched strikes on the Lebanese border towns of Bustan, Marwahin, Az-Zawiya and Ad-Daher.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces reported that the military killed four militants who entered the country from Lebanon, as well as mortar fire from its side. Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the ground attack. Six Israeli servicemen were reportedly wounded.

western msm coverage of this conflict is way different than what it was with ukraine. msm is slightly critical of israeli destruction of the gaza strip and are even showing interviews with hamas leaders in order to garner sympathy for the palestinians. unlike with the ukrainian conflict where literally everything was fake news in favour of ukraine and russians were only ever demonized, no russian perspective has ever been shown.
