Heavy Clashes Between SDF And ISIS Erupt In Al-Susah

by: sdf-press.com

On October 11, heavy clashes broke out inside the town of al-Susah in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside when ISIS attempted to attack positions of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) around the town, according to the SDF media center.

“A sandstorm is hitting the region, obscuring the vision, and the terrorists are trying to exploit this and carry out counter-attacks, however our forces are confronting them,” the SDF media center said in a press release.

US-backed forces also clashed with ISIS members north of the town of al-Baghuz al-Fawqani and around the town of Hajin. Furthermore, US-led coalition and rocket launchers struck several positions of the terrorist group. As a result, more than 35 terrorists were killed in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq announced that the terrorist group attacked 9 positions of the SDF north of the town of al- Shaafah. According to Amaq, ISIS fighters killed several SDF fighters and destroyed three vehicles of US-backed forces with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and other weapons.

ISIS stepped up its defensive operations against the SDF in the last few days, in a bid to repel the ongoing US-led coalition offensive. However, these attempts will likely drain the terrorist group which is under a tight siege.

AM Hants

Funny, the hissy fit between pay masters and workers. Guess, the clean up, to stop them talking, now the US understand they have lost.
