Hezbollah mourned three more of its fighters following a series of heavy Israeli strikes on its heartland, southern Lebanon.
The group announced the death of two fighters late on December 12. The third was mourned on December 13 morning. In three separate statements, it said the fighters lost their lives “on the road to Jerusalem,” without providing any further details.

The last losses brought the number of Hezbollah fighters to have been killed since the clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border broke out after the start of the war in the Palestinian Gaza Strip to 102.
During the same period, two fighters from the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, one fighter from the Lebanese Resistance Regiments, seven fighters from the Hamas Movement, six fighters from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, one soldier from the Lebanese Armed Forces, 14 Lebanese civilians and another from Syria were killed.
From its side, Israel acknowledged that six soldiers and four civilians have been killed, so far. The real number may be much higher.
The clashes on the Lebanese front will not likely stop as long as the Israeli war on Gaza is ongoing. The risk of a full-blown war on this front remains high.
