Tomorrow 350 militants from Saraya Ahl al-Sham and 3124 Syrian civilians will leave their camps in Al-Malahi area and Wadi Hamid east of Arsal to the Rahiba town in Eastern Qalamoun inside Syria, according to Hezbollah’s media wing in Syria. By this the armed presence of the Syrian opposition in Arsal area will be over.
The Rahiba town is under the control of Jaysh al-Islam, but Eastern Qalamoun has been witnessing a full calm since 2014 as a result of secret agreements between Jaysh al-Islam and the Syrian government.
Moreover, Hezbollah’s media wing in Syria has released a video that shows the main headquarters of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Wadi Hamid in Arsal.
The video shows that HTS fighters destroyed and burned the headquarters before they withdrew from it. However they left behind some ammunition and weapons and some Al-Qaeda books.
Syrian Air Force warplanes continued to target ISIS positions in Al-Hishayat highland and Al-Shalubi in Jorud al-Jarajir and Fikha crossing in Jorud Qara in Western Qalamoun near the Syrian-Lebanese border. Where it’s believed that the Syrian-Lebanese military operation against ISIS on the Syrian-Lebanese border will be launched soon.
