Hezbollah carried out on June 14 more than ten attacks against Israel, targeting military sites, equipment, troops and settlements near the Lebanese border.
In separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters shelled three sites of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), al-Ramtha, al-Samaqa and Metula. The group also announced that it targeted a technical system of the IDF in Metula with a suicide drone and struck surveillance equipment in the sites of Miskaf Aam and Jal al-Deir
Three gatherings of Israeli troops were also targeted in the sites of Khallet Warda, Ramtha and Horsh Baram, according to the group.
Hezbollah also announced that its fighters struck a house occupied by Israeli troops in the settlement of Metula and fired dozens of Falaq and Katyusha rockets at the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Kfarsold.
The attacks were carried out in support of the Palestinian people and resistance in the Gaza Strip and in response to recent Israeli strikes on Lebanon including one that killed two civilians and wounded several others in the southern town of Jannata a day earlier, the group noted in its statement.
The IDF said that Hezbollah launched at least 35 projectiles at Israel and admitted that some were not intercepted by Iron Dome air defense systems. Fires were reported in several areas, mainly near Metula, Kiryat Shmona and kfarsold. No casualties were reported by Hebrew media however.
In response to the attacks, the IDF said its fighter jets hit several sites belonging to Hezbollah in the southern Lebanese towns of Odaisseh and Kafr Kila.
Seperation, the IDF released video footage showing the interception of 11 out of 16 suicide drones which were launched from Lebanon at Israel over the last three days. More drones were reportedly launched by Hezbollah during this period than the number stated by the IDF.
Since the outbreak of the Israeli war In Gaza last October, Hezbollah and its allies began launching near-daily attacks from Lebanon against the IDF in support of the Hamas Movement and other Palestinian armed factions in the Strip.
So far, the clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border have resulted in ten civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of at least 15 IDF soldiers and reservists. On the Lebanese side, more than 500 people have been killed, including 324 fighters of Hezbollah and at least 90 civilians.
