On January 20, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Eight of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
An addition video shows an attack with an FPV suicide quadcopter on an American-made M142 HIMARS of Kiev forces that was moving near the settlement of Novobakhmetyevo in the Dontsk direction.
Two other videos show strikes with German-type fixed-wing suicide drones on a Ukranian-made Khortytsia-R electronic warfare system near the settlement of Stepne in the Sumy direction, as well as against two multiple rocket launchers, a Soviet-made BM-21 Grad and a Czech-made RM-70 Vampire, close to the settlements of Vasilevka and Katerynivka in the Kharkiv direction.
One more video from Kharkiv shows an attack with an Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile that hit a large gathering of Kiev forces near the settlement of Sazono-Balanovka. More than 25 military vehicles, including an American-made M270A1 MLRS, were damaged or destroyed. In addition, up to 150 Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded.
An additional video from Kharkiv shows an attack with TOS thermobaric rocket launchers on Ukrainian fortifications in the Slobozhansky forest.
Another video shows a series of artillery strikes with Krasnopol guided shells on Ukrainian positions in the direction of Zaporizhia.
Another video from Zaporizhia shows recent attacks with anti-tank guided missiles against drone launch posts of Kiev forces.
Three additional videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit Ukrainian positions in the settlements of Verkhnyaya Tersa and Vozdvizhevka in Zaporizhia, as well as in the settlement of Ternovaya in Kharkiv. A bridge on the Seversky Donets River near the settlement of Shchurovo in Donetsk was also hit.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “command posts and temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 158 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses intercepted five guided aerial bombs, five HIMARS projectiles, and 254 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 110,154 drones, 646 air defense systems, 27,224 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,644 multiple rocket launchers, 32,701 artillery pieces, and 52,351 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
