Late on December 15, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) announced that they had launched five ballistic missiles at several targets in Saudi Arabia’s southern region.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Yemeni group, said that the targets included King Khalid Air Base in the province of ‘Asir and several “vital” positions in the province of Jizan.
“This attack comes as a response to the aerial escalation and the crimes committed against our dear people,” the spokesman said. “The armed forces affirm their readiness to launch larger and broader operations as long as the aggression and the siege on our country continue.”
From its side, the Saudi-led coalition announced that it had intercepted two ballistic missiles and a suicide drone which were launched by the Houthis from the international airport of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
The coalition acknowledged, however, that a “projectile” hit the city of Jizan, destroying three vehicles and damaging three workshops.

In response to the Houthis’ missile attack, warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition carried out a series of airstrikes on Sanaa. According to the coalition, the airstrikes destroyed two workshops where the Houthis manufactured and assembled ballistic missiles as well as a construction site that was used by Houthi drone experts.
The Houthis’ missile attack confirms that the Saudi-led coalition’s recent intense airstrikes on Sanaa were not effective. The group’s offensive capabilities were not as badly hit as the coalition claims.
There again American technology failed. Iran isn’t even giving them the best and they’re embarrassing them.

I don’t buy it that Yemenis launch drones from Sana’a Int’l Airport, it has to be an excuse to keep the siege on the country. Why? Simply because of the range of the drones, Qasef has a range of merely 150KM. From Sana’a to the closest target (Like Abha) the distance is over 240KM, not to mention other locations.
Everybody just calm the F down.
America withdrew patriot missiles because they were being shown to be useless expensive rubbish. Saudi’ on KY hope to to buy S-400 from Russia.
