Houthis Say They Fired Ballistic Missiles At Israel’s Eilat

The Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen have claimed responsibility for the missile attack that targeted the southernmost Israeli city of Eilat on December 6.

Brigade General Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Houthi, said that several ballistic missiles were launched at military positions near Eilat.

The spokesman warned that the Houthis will continue to “carry out their military operations against the Israeli enemy, as well as implementing the decision to prevent Israeli ships from navigating the Arab and Red Seas in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.”

Israel said that a single “surface-to-surface” missile was intercepted by its Arrow air defense system over the Red Sea, outside its airspace. No casualties or damage was reported.

Earlier on December 6, Britain’s Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency and British maritime security company Ambrey reported an incident involving a suspected drone over the Red Sea west of the Yemeni port of Hodeidah. UKMTO warned vessels transiting the area to exercise caution.

United States officials said that USS Mason, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, shot down a drone that was launched from Yemen.

The Houthis, who control a large part of Yemen and maintain a large arsenal of missiles and drones, are part of the so-called “Axis of Resistance” which is backed by Iran and opposes Israel. After the breakout of the war in Gaza, the Houthis launched several missile and drone attacks at targets in Israel. They also seized an Israeli-owned ship and targeted several others near Yemeni waters.

Neither Israel or the U.S. has yet responded to the Houthis’ recent attacks. Any strikes or ground operations against the Houthis could reignite the war in Yemen.

just gotta love those fun loving houthi brothers; having kicked saudi barbaria senseless, not once but twice, now they are jumping at the chance of sticking it directly to the evil anglozionazi empire of filth. meanwhile some rusty pentacon tubs at club med are waiting for some nice “ceeeeegars” to convert them into coral reefs for the fishes. onward to palestine free of the chosenite viper.

they need to try harder and hit the regime where it hurts. randomly bombing civilians won’t do it. the isreali apartheid regime already tried it.

zman

no matter. they are helping to burn through ad missile stocks. everyone already knows the west has limited munitions, thanks to ukr. sooner or later…btw, the houthis don’t target civilians, they target military and support infrastructure. eilat is a major israeli port. it’s now closed.

pride cometh before the fall. i never would have thought that people could be so in love with their dementedness and inspired by it. i guess decades of getting away with vile behavior does something to the mind.

zman

yes, those who worship israel are going to get a rude awakening. their minds have indeed gone around the bend and brainwashing goes deep…but soon it will become clear that their love of the demented zionists has it’s dangers. dangers to themselves and their countries, when their own people figure out they’ve been had for many decades by the deceivers.

israel is getting what it deserves. karma.

they deserve “protection” of the us. just as ukraine does. god, save us from the a plague and us protection. we have far better chances unprotected.

the uk haven’t sent just ships. there is talk of british troops being deployed in gaza to help with the genocide. when this question was raised in parliament by corbyn, the minister responsible seem to lose all language control. without an outright denial, it’s probably safe to say that blighty troops are committing war crimes in gaza.
